My self-summary
I'd describe myself as a bit of a hybrid. East coast girl, in love with the west coast. Whiskey drinking, baseball loving, public policy nerd. An extrovert who requires a lot of alone time. Outgoing and friendly, but fiercely loyal to, and protective of, the people I care about.

I just recently landed my dream job working in education, which is keeping me super busy. When I'm not working I'm playing outside, hanging out with my friends' dogs (and I guess my friends, too), eating really good food, drinking really cheap drinks, spending way too much time on the phone with my baby sister, traveling as much as I can (which is not enough), and defending oxford commas.

I'm an ENFP to the core. Do with that what you will.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to have the best time possible, with the best people I can find while contributing something positive to the world. Too ambitious?
I’m really good at
Making friends, spelling, yoga, dancing, watching baseball, reading, laughing, hiking, and cooking vegetarian meals even though I'm not a vegetarian.
The first things people usually notice about me
Is that I'm sassy. And friendly. And I talk a lot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The Story of Edgar Sawtelle and whatever library book I'm currently reading
The League, The Walking Dead, any Ken Burns documentary
changes all the time, but right now: Thao & the Get Down Stay Down, Neko Case, Wild Cub, Typhoon, Okkerville River, Frightened Rabbit, Samantha Crain, Foals
I will put a runny egg on anything even remotely reasonable.
The six things I could never do without
baby sister
best friend
NPR
library card
french press
mountains
I spend a lot of time thinking about
All the things I want to see and do - in this part of the world and elsewhere.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either at my neighborhood bar with some friends, seeing some music, or my roommate and I have been sucked into a vortex of almost-due-library-books-that-must-be-read-right-now and booze. Lately it's that last one.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Standing in my kitchen eating cold fried chicken out of the fridge is one of the last artifacts of my southern roots.
You should message me if
You want to share some whiskey and lively conversation.
