My self-summary
I'd describe myself as a bit of a hybrid. East coast girl, in love with the west coast. Whiskey drinking, baseball loving, public policy nerd. An extrovert who requires a lot of alone time. Outgoing and friendly, but fiercely loyal to, and protective of, the people I care about.

I just recently landed my dream job working in education, which is keeping me super busy. When I'm not working I'm playing outside, hanging out with my friends' dogs (and I guess my friends, too), eating really good food, drinking really cheap drinks, spending way too much time on the phone with my baby sister, traveling as much as I can (which is not enough), and defending oxford commas.

I'm an ENFP to the core. Do with that what you will.

Making friends, spelling, yoga, dancing, watching baseball, reading, laughing, hiking, and cooking vegetarian meals even though I'm not a vegetarian.

Either at my neighborhood bar with some friends, seeing some music, or my roommate and I have been sucked into a vortex of almost-due-library-books-that-must-be-read-right-now and booze. Lately it's that last one.

Standing in my kitchen eating cold fried chicken out of the fridge is one of the last artifacts of my southern roots.
