it's not my very intention to be a tour guide/
one day, or one night company for short time visitors.
originally from kansai area in Japan,
moved to Tokyo in 2005 to enter the university
where I had good and spicy time.
might be a Gunma resident from next year.
have traveled NYC, San Francisco, Los Angeles,
Paris, Berlin, some cities in Belgium,
Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, and Athens in the past.
especially NYC is where I visited 6 times so far,
and where there are brilliant musician friends of mine,
I could say I love there but not very sure if it's the place to live.
personally I would rather visit other places in the U.S like Austin and Alabama so bad.
having been studying social work since April.
I've been considering the course after gaining national qualification as psychiatric social worker in 2014,
that it might be a good idea to go abroad and major in social work.
recently I've been gathering information about schools of social work mainly in the U.S (ironical to say,NY has been in my mind) as I have great interest in prostitution and mental issues related to it in urban areas, but I would highly appreciate any advice for where to visit/enter.
(Hunter College,University of Washington,NYU,the New School etc...)
also I would highly appreciate your ideas and opinions, or references about this following subject.
having been studying psychiatric social work,
I wonder how social workers can be involved with sex workers.
my specific interest is addiction, and I would like to study more about abuse, addiction and some legal issues sex workers can face,
to protect their own determination and human rights.
but in Japan there are not enough degree of recognition for addiction (as disease) and very few social workers involved with those who struggle with it (and grass-roots activities like has been having difficulty gaining popularity here too).
everything I do is mostly for better life.
better speed, better sunshine, better amount, and better mixture.
