My self-summary Propose an edit

I'm a down to earth person who doesn't like to play games.I usually walk with a cane.

I am not into three-somes or one night stands. If you message me asking for this I will thank you for the compliment and decline! I consider it a compliment that you think I am "hot" enough, but I am not into that.

I also have to tell this to avoid problems. I have no attraction to 'white' men. It probably has something to do with earlier bad experiences but I have not been able to change it.After the nice way non-white guys treated me, I really don't want to change it either.It might also be because my father's side of the family always acted like they should be wearing sheets .I kept asking Mom what was wrong with them ,when I was a little girl.

I like to cook. I have yet to master fried chicken and am looking for lessons. I love to bake bread,cookies, cakes. I make a pretty good spaghetti sauce with meatblobs. (Can't keep them round but they taste good.)I would love to have my own garden and learn to can food. I also love feeding anyone who shows up at my door and is hungry.( Neighbors,kids)
I tend to cook too much and end up freezing things for later use. I love to make homemade soup and bread and call everyone I know to come and eat. Sometimes I make chicken veggie soup when people I know are sick and deliver it to them.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I am moving to Dallas on October 1rst to get to know my older sister and my sister-in-law/ her partner. Both of whom I love very much. I like tutoring as my B.S. is in secondary education. I'm looking forward to moving and getting settled in down there. Hope to make new friends and find a job soon.

The truck pulls out of here on Sept.29. I am getting a little overwhelmed with packing. But I'll make it.
As of Monday- # weeks left. I need to have 2 more yard sales!
If only Goodwill picked up. Hmmm?

I have made it. Dallas is nice. I love it.

I am large, wear a size 24 currently. Used to be a 20-22 and hoping to get back there before X-mas. My red hair. Hazel eyes. I wear glasses.Sometimes my eyes seem to change color on their own, usually greener when I am happier.

update: the 24s are getting loose and some 22s fit already. Bathing suit here I come. Maybe if I get enough freckles they will connect and give me a permanent tan?

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

I like to read comedy science fiction and fantasy. Action movies, dramas, musicals. I like to listen to a wide variety of music. I tend to lean toward classic rock and 1980s music.I do love the music of the Dixie Chicks.
I love Chinese,Thai and Vietnamese food.
My favorite movies are Tank Girl, The Rocky Horror Picture Show,Yours,Mine and Ours with Lucille Ball.( us redheaded ladies need to stick together.)I also like Bruce Willis movies.I think Hudson Hawk is really funny.I don't tend to like what the film critics like, at least not very often.

I do have a depression problem that is managed by medication. I usually joke that I am on enough antidepressants to choke a moose, therefore I tend to be very happy most of the time.
I also have the hampster dance on my computer bookmarks. I play it when I need cheering up or when I just want a good reason to giggle.
I was a rotten pre-teen who played a lot of practical jokes, also planned a lot of mayhem for other kids.
