I am Godly, Humorous, and kind-hearted.
My Self-Summary
Hi. Thank you for looking at my profile. My name is Mary and I'm a
Christian woman. I'm 58 and I have been with the State of Georgia
for 18 years. I currently work for the Department of Veterans
Service in Atlanta. I enjoy my freedom but I like company too. I
enjoy many things in life. I'm the perfect combination of tomboy
and Ms. Priss. I love to be outside working and don't mind getting
my hands dirty but then I like to come in and shower, get make up
on, get dressed up and go out. I'm not a drinker so the bar scene
is out for me. However I like parties with friendly smart people.
What I would like in a partner is someone who is Godly, can
communicate, intelligent, and a great sense of humor. They would
have to be honest and honorable. I know it's a tall order but
that's what I want out of life. And if they're pretty on the eyes
that's an added bonus.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working from Monday through Friday. I have my weekends off. I
attend Bible study class on Wednesday nights, church on Sunday. I'm
learning alot. I volunteer alot with the DAR (Daughters of the
American Revolution) making blankets for hospitalized veterans.
More on request.
I’m really good at
blanket making, organizing, giving of my time, cooking and deal
hunting. I'm a lovely assistant. ;-]
The first things people usually notice about me
smile, eyes, quick wit and friendliness.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite book is the Bible. I like Do-It-Yourself books,
thrillers, murder mystery. Now movies...I love the movies. All
kinds. I like the old classics like The Ten Commandments, Ben Hur,
Cleopatra, To Kill a Mocking Bird, The Big Country, How the West
Was Won. Newer movies include a couple of my favorites: Tombstone
and The Patriot. I like comedies, drama, murder mystery, all kinds
of good movies. I like different kinds of food. I love good filet
mignon steaks, pizza, Italian food and Chinese. I don't care for
Indian food. Curry upsets my stomach. I like most vegetables.
The six things I could never do without
God, my daughter, my grandbaby, my father (I'm lucky he's still
around), my brother and my sisters, movies, music.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How can I (as one person) make this world a better place to live?
And how can I improve myself and be more like Christ? I've got a
long way to go.
On a typical Friday night I am
unwinding from the week. Maybe watch a movie, kick back and relax.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
That's a priviledge you'll have to earn.
You should message me if
you're interested in a straight up woman striving to be a good
Christian and being happy. I like a peaceful setting and I stear
clear of drama and Godless people.
