I am passionate, a dreamer, and an old soul.
My Self-Summary
I love intensity, inspiring questions, and connecting with people
in a way that makes me remember what it feels like to be human, in
the most enlivening sense of the word. I seek beauty in the strange
and dark, and humor in the unexpected. I am captivated by raindrops
on rooftops, art that provokes emotion, macabre elegance, and
juxtapositions of joy and sorrow.
"And all the time your soul is craving and longing for something
else. And in vain does the dreamer rummage about in his old dreams,
raking them over as though they were a heap of cinders, looking in
these cinders for some spark, however tiny, to fan it into a flame
so as to warm his chilled blood by it and revive in it all that he
held so dear before, all that touched his heart, that made his
blood course through his veins, that drew tears from his eyes, and
that so splendidly deceived him!" -excerpt from Dostoevsky's White
Nights
What I’m doing with my life
I am planning to transfer to a four year college to study major in
film. I want to create meaningful cinema that pushes boundaries of
gender, reality, and time. I believe that art, especially cinema is
one of the most powerful forms of activism. I experiment with
creative writing, mixed media, and performance art. I dream
endlessly.
I’m really good at
Writing about emotions, making surreal short films, dancing
excitedly and ridiculously to 80's music, apologizing when
necessary, being strange, listening to others, speaking my mind,
melancholia, being hopelessly romantic
The first things people usually notice about me
My naturally red hair, green eyes that often reveal to much, or
Victorian inspired sense of style

The six things I could never do without
-cinema
-a room of my own
-being in nature
-music
-tools to create new envisions
-the company of other women
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to discover genuine human connections in our fast-paced
technological based world, childhood memories that did or did not
really occur, the rights of the under-valued and oppressed, the
brainwashing affect of mass-media, ideas for art projects
On a typical Friday night I am
Reading, at film screening, or at an art gallery.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I don't like resorting to meeting people online, yet here I am
doing it anyway.
