unstoppable, nerdy, and introverted
My self-summary Propose an edit
Ah, now is the chance to wow the masses and woo the ladies of the
internet with my cleverly worded, insightful, and every-so-sexy
self-summary. Oh, the things to say.
I'm a classic introvert (because nothing impresses the masses like
the revelation that you enjoy time to yourself). I love spending
time with people one-on-one or in small groups, and I can't stand
large-scale get-togethers. Because I hate random small talk with
random strangers that I'll never see again and I love intimate and
thoughtful conversation.
I'm sarcastic and snarky, and I'm also naive and idealistic. I'll
leave it to others to decide which is the real me and which is the
front. I'm thoughtful and careful with my words until I get too
excited and it all comes in a massive torrent. I'm a
conversationalist in person, but I think silence is valuable
too.
I spend most of my free time (and my work time, but that's another
story) reading and writing (for fun) and I'm an endless reservoir
of useless information about bands and authors I like. Oh, and I
have comic book tattoos, because I'm that nerdy and I want everyone
to know it.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
Why does "what I'm doing with my life" equate "here's what my job
is"? What I'm doing with my life is thinking and reading and
writing and exploring this city I've just moved to. But on the work
front, I'm a library assistant and soon I'll be applying for grad
school to get my doctorate in clinical psychology.
I'm really good at Propose an edit
Analyzing people. Knowing way too much about books and music.
Taking long walks. Backgammon.
I feel tempted to write "sex" here, because I bet that's what
people want to read. But I think how "good" someone is at sex
depends on the person they're with and if you claim to universally
be good at sex, you're setting yourself to look like an asshole.

The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
Music, I'd probably go crazy after while with it.
Books, what would I stick my nose in?
A sense of self-worth.
Burritos.
Sex, or at least masturbation. Or at least making out. The monk's
life is not the life for me.
Sleep, one of life's greatest pleasures.
Food, water and air.
I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
I spend a lot of time thinking about EVERYTHING. Maybe too much
time. But the frequently recurring items are my future (or at least
my multiple exciting fantasy futures, ask for more info), random
minutia about books and music (are we sensing a pattern?), my own
personal philosophy (which may or may not be on shaky ground), sex
(you're lying if you say otherwise) and imagined interactions with
historical figures I will never meet.
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
At work till 10. Afterwards I'm as likely to go home and relax as
go out. The typical Friday night plans need to be traded in for
something more exciting and original.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
When I was a teenager I spent four years in psychoanalysis for
depression. It was the greatest thing that ever happened to me. I
learned to know myself, to constantly strive to improve myself and
it put me on the path to the only job I can see myself doing for
the rest of my life.
