Books that changed my life: The Dune Series by Frank Herbert and
the Gor Series by John Norman. From well written long winded epics
to poorly written short sci fi crap, both of these series of books
had a profound impact on how I think today.
Books I enjoy: Any book on Middle Earth that JRR TOlkien wrote,
plus the Silmarillion and the Book of Unfinished Tales that his son
published. I haven't read the series his son put out based solely
on his notes. The Thomas Covenant series, The Darkness Rising
series, The Beauty series by the pen name of Anne Rice, The Bible
(hey, if you want high flying fantastic adventure, look no further
than the old testament), the Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn Trilogy by
Tad Williams, the Otherland series by Tad Williams (EXCELLENT sci
fi if you ever get the chance), The Dragonlance Chronicles and
Legends Trilogies, and Dragons of Summer Flame by Weis and Hickman
(both of whom are really cool people, I've met both), the Sword of
Truth series by Terry Goodkind, and a plethora of others.

Movies: The Matrix movies (I teared up at the end of the third
one), Casablanca (thank you Castimirr), Most action movies starring
Wil Smith (hey they may be crap, but they are FUN crap), Princess
Bride, Legend, Labrynth, Blade Runner, Replicant, Robotech (the
series, and the new Shadow Chronicles movie), Pretty much anything
Macross related (Macross 7, Macross Frontier, etc), Robojocks, Mad
Max Beyond Thunderdome, Xmen 2, Saw (even though I refuse to watch
it again, and refuse to go to the sequel), and pretty much any
fantasy styled or sci fi styled movie that comesout I'll at least
watch, if not love. I enjoy the Lord of the Rings movies, but I end
up wishing that he'd stayed closer to the books. But all in all,
very good movies.

Music I enjoy: Wow, there's a list to fill a tome.....Nightwish,
Def Lepard, Tori Amos, NIN, Perfect Circle, Garth Brooks, Toby
Keith, Kelly Clarkson, Rev 22:20 off of the Underworld Soundtrack,
Metallica, Megadeath, Eminim, Dr Dre (older stuff anyway), NWA, Bon
Jovi, Nickleback, 3 Doors Down, Enigma, Disturbed, Evenessence,
Stroke 9 (I got to see them in concert), Blink 182 (I got to see
them warm up before I got rained out of their concert), Janet
Jackson (older stuff), Brian Adams, Godsmack, Fuel, Lita Ford,
Ozzy....the list goes on. I've barely touched the surface. As you
can see, I have very eccletic tastes.

Foods: Sweet foods, Steak, burgers without pickles or onions,
General Tso's Chicken that's not TOO spicy with a bed of white
rice, or friend rice at a few places, Shrimp, Tater Tots, Chocolate
Macademia Nut Cookies (I like subways specifically, but Kroger's
are good too), Banana Pudding, Burritos, Tacos, Quesadillas,
Miracle Whip (not Mayo), Green Beans from the can, Cream Corn,
Fresh Baby Spinach (dipped in French Dressing ideally, or on a
salad with French all over it), Potato Soup (I like my dad's...wish
I had the recipe, and O'Charley's; both are thick, full of cheese
and stick to you for hours), French Toast (with Cinnamon, Powdered
Sugar, and just a bit of syrup to keep all that on the bread),
Strawberry Shortcake, Strawberry Ice cream, and Strawberry/Vanilla
mix milkshakes. I enjoy Sweet Tea (good southern sweet tea that
rots your teeth out when you drink it), Mt Dew (Code Red and
Regular), Pepsi, Mellow yellow, Milk (Plain, Chocolate, and
Strawberry), Orange Juice, Sunny Delight, Apple Juice, and good
cold clear pure water.
I don't like: Pickles...they have two things in them I don't like,
cucumbers and vinegar. Onions. BLECH! Not fond of Peppers by
themselves, green, red, yellow, it doesn't matter. My idea of a
salad includes carrot, Lettuce, Tomato, and Spinach, and nothing
else besides cheese and french or thousand island dressing.

Alcohol: I hate Beer. I love Rum, I enjoy most any other sweet
liquor. Vodka and Tequilla have a special place in hy heart, but
only mixed. I like Sangria, which my wine snob friends tell me is
not really a wine, but I don't care. Most wines are just too bitter
and nasty to me.

I am going to include a seperate category. Favorite Games (and I'll
include non-rpgs too for you non-roleplayers out there)
DnD (pretty much all versions), Rifts, Robotech (I own both of the
PS2 games, and almost everything ever published by Palladium),
Shadowrun (3rd and 4th), Battletech (Roleplaying and the war game),
Warhammer and Warhammer 40K (the table top minature war game - I
like the RPGs, but don't play them). Command and Conquer will
always have a place in my heart, as will Starcraft. I love the
Warcraft strategy games, but I'm not big on WoW. I love City of
Heroes/Villains - most awesome MMO evar. I love the Call of Duty
games, as well as the Ghost Recon series. I enjoy Splinter Cell way
too much, I detest the Lara Croft games (stupid controls!), and
have a special place in my heart for Dynasty Warriors. Fighting
games are interesting as long as I'm not losing every match.
