My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a 30 year old chap, recently finished a PhD, living outside of Boston (hopefully soon to be some nebulous & deep forest) with my girlfriend. I'm an ontological anarchist....open to discussing anything from sports, to music, to art, to sexuality, to philosophy, to film, etc. Throw me a message if you're interested in chatting....

I have more pics & what not as well.....but I like the veil of anonymity that one is provided from time to time. With who I choose, I have no need for anonymity....but otherwise the shadows are delightful...

*I have recently reached a level of disgust & irritation with the steady stream of 'grammarians' roaming about this site. It is remarkably simple to grasp the following:

1. Grammar is in actuality an arbitrary construct in which the possibilities of Language & language(s) are oppressively interiorized & fixed, primarily so that States/'Nations' could maximize productivity (at the cost of the creative energy whose progeny is 'Language').

2. Functional, normative conversational English has a plethora of grammatically acceptable contractions. This is ostensibly due to the non-necessity &/or negligible-importance of pure 'Formal' language, at all times. If there are vestigial remains of the relatively-recently-imposed (in the known-history of languages) necessity of Formal diction & discourse, it remains specifically in the written word, & certainly not in conversational English. When 'chatting' online, one is entering a sphere of written language whose function, explicitly, is one of conversation, regardless of its mediation through 'writing' as such. Thus, if someone in an 'IM' conversation writes 'convo' or 'ur' instead of 'you're,''you are,' &/or 'your' or 'btw' instead of 'by the way' or 'lol' instead of 'that comment made me chuckle &/or laugh physiologically' or any other myriad of possibilities, it operates as a functional use of contractions within conversational English, not as some arbitrary signifier of intelligence.

Its just pretentious, obnoxious bullshit, frankly, & indicative of either disturbingly reductive thought, or self-inflated importance. Get over yourselves.

I am not interested, in self summation, & reductionism
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
reading, writing (fiction & philosophy), watching film, random road trips through back-country, impulsiveness, compulsivity...
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
debating (any topic, particularly one i am actually passionate about), writing (according to some...i, however, am more critical...), follando (for the Gallegos in the crowd, haha), exploring other conceptual dimensions (an ambivalent talent, i can assure you...), challenging orthodoxy, (re)conceptualizing normative film & literary narratives (a lot more fun than it may sound), etc.

by the way, this song is spectacular....

*since growing my hair out (3 years on Halloween)--I had never grown it out in my life, & had in fact shaved it consistently for almost 13 years--I'd say also probably the curly locks (a 'follicular'-filamentous shock even to my own mother)...

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Eh.

This question..... Eh.

Doesn't do it for me.

But i really love seltzer & chapstick.....a lot. I also personally believe that baby wipes should take over & become the norm. To quote the great Dr. John Harvey Kellogg in 'The Road to Wellville': "Cleanliness is next to Godliness..."

Then again, he also said "An erection is a flagpole on your grave" & "My own stools, Sir, are gigantic...& have no more odor than a hot biscuit."

hmm....methinks perhaps a (re)conceptualization of this whole flight of thought is in order...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how to infuse the banal, quotidian & static conceptualizations of life & reality with the infinite emancipatory possibilities of chaotic magical dynamism

"mmmmm......me like muuuuuuch much!"

i've also been wondering why it is apparently so difficult for people to realize what an utterly jingoistic, proto-fascistic, dull piece of shit '300' is....

*& recently, whether Magnum P.I. or Murder She Wrote has more zealously unrepentant absurdity...
