My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm incredibly intimidated by trying to summarize myself, but here it goes:

I'm a student at Eastern Michigan, majoring in Anthropology and Urban Planning.

I love: books, my friends, writing, photography, architecture, art, music, hiking, coffee, biking, good whiskey, and good beer.

....well, this is tedious.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working on finishing my bachelor's in Anthropology and Urban Planning at EMU....after that? Dunno!

I do hope to continue to grad school at some point, at the moment I'm hoping to eventually do U of M's Masters program in Anthropology or Creative Writing.

I spend a lot of time writing, mainly short prose-poem type stuff-- the kind of stuff there's probably no commercial value in, but it's what I'm good at. I'd love to pursue writing as a career, and I might someday. My writing probably says more about me than my Okcupid profile, so if you're interested I can give you a link to my blog.

Ultimately my 'mission' in life is to make the world a better, more beautiful, more just place. (As cliche and naive as that may sound...) I've worked in various environmental campaigns and on social justice issues, and I care deeply about a lot of issues-- I'm not a particularly 'political' person though...at least not in the usual sense.

In all honesty though, I don't put much stock in traditional notions of success, at least in the career/financial realms. Really, I want to be a hippie-farmer type with a farm in the middle of nowhere, some dogs, some cats, lots of trees and lots of sunshine. I want to be comfortable, yes, but mostly happy. It doesn't take much for me to be comfortable.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking.

I'm pretty alright at writing and photography too.
The first things people usually notice about me

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Books, nature, music, food, air, and water.
I spend a lot of time thinking about

Passed out drunk, at the bar, playing with friends, reading, or watching a movie at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I dyslexically answered that word/number sequence question on okcupid.

I unthinkingly answered the Shakespeare question as 'where', instead of the correct 'why'...embarrassing, huh?

If you think I'm interesting, and you think I'll think you're interesting too. I'm not really expecting anything from this whole okcupid thing, but I love meeting new people!
