I'm Matt. I'm a nerd who's trying to find someone who understands me a little. I love video games and Japanese culture as well as anime, cooking, and politics. I've grown up loving to read and think critically. I'm a great conversationalist and love to make people laugh. At the same time I'm very calm and relaxed, I hardly ever get upset.

I'm a liberal, a nerd, a chef, a destroyer of worlds and dreams, and a whole bunch of other things. I'm pretty cool.

Right now I'm unemployed but looking for work as a chef. I've got my degree in Culinary Arts but no one is hiring in this economy. Currently I private chef for my parents and host dinner parties for my friends. I've had a bunch of interviews and I'm always hoping that the next one will work out! I'm pretty unlucky.

Beats me. It's hard to look at someone and notice their personality... So probably my hair?

My favorite book is One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest. I loved Rant by Chuck Palanhuick, the first Dexter book by Jeff Lindsey. Also a fan of Michael Moorcock's Eternal Champion stuff. My father's a professional author (Robert Weinberg), so I grew up reading a lot of sci-fi and fantasy.

My favorite movie is Fight Club, although The Godfather, Batman Begins, Grosse Point Blank, and Dark City are some of my favorites too. Big fan of Godzilla and vampire movies also.

My favorite music is all Japanese, so I'd doubt you've heard of it... but for sake of arguement: m-flo, DRAGON ASH, and Red Alice are the top ones right now. Currently I'm listening to a lot of J-Core and Doujin music by Alestroemaria Records and Cool & Create.

America-wise I enjoy a little bit of everything, but when I was younger I mainly listened to punk and/or electronic. Favorites include: Rancid (anything with Tim Armstrong really), AFI, Tiger Army, Bad Religion, Street Dogs, The Crystal Method, The Chemical Brothers, Blackmoore's Night, ABBA, Delerium, Rammstein, Poe, The Prodigy.

I don't think I have a favorite food, I like a lot. Anything with crab is great. Marcona Almonds are a superb snack. Cashews too.

Seriously, I wish I wasn't alone. I wish I had a good job so I could feel productive. But I'm getting by.

I play World of Warcraft. I watch Japanese Sentai almost religiously, mainly Kamen Rider though.
