What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Getting a BS in Microbiology at OSU this fall, with aspirations for a doctorate after that and to go into research and improve the world. Or become a mad scientist and hold the world hostage.....I haven't quite decided yet.

I also am TAing for my first semester, which will either result in me influencing the minds of many a young students, or going into panic attacks at the prospect of teaching tons of young students.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making horrendous jokes (or was it horrendously awesome?). I'm also good at science, especially in biology and the more non-math intensive side of chemistry. I've also come to discover that I posses impressive logic skills, so much so that I can only conclude I am secretly a super advanced robot.

On a more serious note, I'm pretty good at being upfront and honest about things. If I'm not interested, I don't lead anyone on. I've been hurt too many times because I was lead on only to get ignored. So if I think we could only be friends, I'll be honest about it, and I hope for the same courtesy if it's not mutual attraction.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Usually I go unnoticed, I'm a bit of an inadvertent ninja that way. Honestly I don't know how other people see me really. Perhaps you'd be willing to tell me what sticks out about me?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies: Too many to list and remember, but as a typical rule I enjoy comedies and super hero movies. Some good examples of my tastes include,

Kick Ass, The Amazing Spiderman, The Dark Knight trilogy, Dredd, Wreck it Ralph, John Carter, Avengers, Iron Man, Shaun of the Dead, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Battle Royale, How to Train Your Dragon 1 and 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, just to name a few.

Scott Pilgrim VS the World holds a special place in me as one of my more favorite movies of all time. In fact if you have 7 evil exes to kung-fu fight, we'll get along just swimmingly.

I also grew up watching MST3K so I enjoy watching terrible movies and making fun of their horrendous flaws.

Books: I've read more text books than anything else, mostly because of my major and needing to learn so much. When it comes to leisure reading I stick to non-fiction, I just personally find books as a means to tell a story a bit boring, especially when I could read a book about just how awesome reality is. Some books I've read and thoroughly enjoyed include Death by Black Hole, and Killer Germs.

TV: How I met Your Mother, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Enterprise, Archer, The Daily Show, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, South Park, House, Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Music: I admit the majority of what I listen to is Japanese nonsense, or an OST from some game/movie. I much more relate to the emotion invoked from them, especially since I tend to be able to tie it to scenes from the stories of aforementioned media. Though I do have a fondness of The Protomen and their 2 albums with perpetual hope that they

Food: I can be a bit picky here, but my all time favorite remains as sushi. I also enjoy a lot of rice dishes. I admit to loving a good chipotle burrito far more than I probably should.

I've also been working to create an awesome curry.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Nefarious plans for universal conquest! Failing that random science inquiries that I have (most often relating to what I'm presently studying).

I also have a bit of a creative side thinking up interesting and clever (or at least in my mind) stories, where I usually feel compelled to actually work on them, but fall flat because I lack the skills and talent to do so.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either relaxing and being lazy, or doing something with friends. Or if I'm feeling dreadfully terrible that day I'll just study and keep up on my work.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If you care to know than ask, I don't mind answering. It's far superior to the alternative where you just stalk me and gather information about myself that even I didn't know.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
-Anything above struck your fancy, or you also have the same interests.
-If you found my particular brand of humor hilarious (or at least pity laugh worthy).
-If you think we'll connect in some way.

I will say, currently I'm hesitant (but still willing) to get into a more serious relationship. It's something I yearn for, yet presently I'm applying to Grad Schools, so there remains a chance that by this time next year I will be moving away for a solid 5-7 years.

I'm going against my usual policy and I will say I'm open to more short term dating because of the circumstances, and the fact that while I want a more serious relationship, I've never had any real meaningful relationships before. So I guess it may be best for me to just start small and learn how it is to not be constantly alone.
