I am the type of person that can let things go pretty easy. Bad things don't get to me and the good ones stick longer than they probably should.

I eat out with friends way too much which means I do not get to cook as often as I hope.

I still cling to a few childish jokes, such as tapping people on the opposite shoulder that I am on and jinxing them (People really don't abide by jinx rules anymore).

I hate, hate, hate sunglasses. I can't stand when people wear them and talk to me. I like to look people in the eyes to see what they are thinking.

I am currently a math major at UTSA, deciding what I want to do after college. Right now I have my eye on the peace corps for after graduation and then maybe graduate school for physics. But that is still pretty far away so it is not set in stone.

I am working two part time jobs as well, both of which I really enjoy. First, I am an SI for Intro to Astronomy at UTSA. That means I act like a TA and help anyone study or understand concepts they don't know. My other job is pretty unique, so I am not going to list it.

As for what my free time is, well it can be anything. I am up for about anything, which means a week for me could be working out, volleyball, dodgeball, capture the flag, hiking, frisbee, swimming, and I don't want this to turn into a long list of stuff I like to do.

I have been lucky enough to travel a good number of places, as you might see from my photos. I went to Italy for a month summer abroad program, spring break in Colorado, a few trips to Chicago, 2 months in the Bahamas with my uncle, and I will be spending about a week in Costa Rica to surf with my brother soon. It is always fun to spend some time learning new cultures and seeing new things. I hope to one day be able to just sail anywhere I want to go in the world(landlocked places might be tricky).

I really like sailing. I do not get to go anymore since I found my sunfish on the Galveston freeway. Damn you Hurricane Ike, but there is no better feeling than being out on the ocean with only the sound of the wind and birds, going wherever you want on your own abilities.

is my smile. Or more specifically how my face contorts when I smile. My eyes get incredibly squinty and Asian-like. It is bad enough that my own cousin asked my aunt whether I was born in China. I still get asked by almost everyone if I am Asian.

My favorite book is Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse, with anything by Kurt Vonnegut coming in second, Ismael in third. Usually I am stuck looking through math textbooks now, but I always like to have a book I am trying to get through.

For movies, it would be older films such as Groundhog Day, The Blues Brothers, and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. I really don't like scary movies because my imagination refuses to let them go. That doesn't mean I won't see them, I just need more coaxing than usual.

My favorite food would be Italian, but I will eat anything. A nice creamy Alfredo pasta can't be beat. I had the best one in the world in a little trattoria in Florence. Food is a passion of mine and I love to eat new things.

The Cat Empire is my favorite band. I also enjoy Tom petty, Bob Dylan, Butterfingers, and The Rolling Stones. As you can see its mostly old stuff because I typically do not search for new music. After all, everything one hears is a type of music.

I am really trying to make this nothing.

myself. What I am doing, where I am going, and why. Or I have matches of street fighter 4 running through it, conversations with people I will never actually talk to or conversations with people I will talk to.

I play devil's advocate more than I should. Growing up I was really competitive with my older brother and younger sister and not all of it has left me yet.
