My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
After nearly 2 years of adventure in Australia, I'm heading back to the uk and giving brighton a go. I'm from Belfast, studied in cardiff, then worked in canberra.
I love travelling, building sand castles, eating in new restaurants and drinking gin. Also have a soft spot for board games, books and museums.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working! Work does come first, and get to work some odd shifts at all hours of the day.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
umm staying in bed. I can do that all day, if necessary.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I really have no idea. A lot of people spend time trying to figure out either my accent or my age (usually wrong on both counts)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Book - American Gods by Neil Gaiman (I used to think it was fairly uncommon to be a big fan of Gaiman, but it seems like everybody on here loves his stuff)
Movies - C.R.A.Z.Y. is my favourite, but also fond of Pitch Perfect, Fired Up, and loads of other 'bad' films
Music - Scissor Sisters, maroon 5, no doubt, Franz Ferdinand
Food - chinese food :)
Tv- The Apprentice, Cougar Town, Buffy (of course), Six Feet Under, Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My laptop, my books, my friends, my TV, my nice plates (sad I know), my dressing gown, my family.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I can travel more- usually have to come up with a reason to justify the time off from work
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
depends really - happy to watch a movie with friends either in or out, or going for dinner, or out for drinks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't think I'm willing to admit anything private! You need to buy me a drink if you want some private info...
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to show me round brighton when I turn up in August. If you can get really into sandcastle building and not be self concious about it. If you will watch bad tv with me. If you are up for visiting new places and trying new things and, like me, you're looking for someone to share that with.
