I am a professional line cook with a full time job at an Oakland Country Club, and I graduated from the Culinary Arts program at Diablo Valley College. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, going to movies and restaurants, working out at the gym, being in the outdoors (biking, hiking, camping), going to Oakland A's games, adding to my collection of single malt scotches and red wine, and playing video games or watching videos. I also do a little volunteer work.

In my career I'm cooking for all kinds of events and people, and outside of work I am staying active physically, enjoying good food, visiting Farmer's Markets, reading mysteries, volunteer work and going to Oakland A's games when I can.

Favorite movies: I like comedy, fantasy/sci fi and horror movies. My favorites are Lord of the Rings , Star Wars , Harry Potter, Alien, Moneyball, the Matrix, Terminator, The Fog (original), Batman, Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Ratatouille.

TV shows: Big Bang Theory, Food Channel, White Collar, Psych, NCIS, and CSI-NY and Las Vegas.

Music: Metallica, Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Santana, Scorpions, Sting, Tool, U2, ZZTop, Nirvana, Linkin Park.

Food: Italian, American, Asian, comfort, French - anything fresh and delicious.

Traveling, great places to eat and things to do that are fun.

Because I'm a young chef, I'm often working on Friday night, and sometimes on Saturday night, too. It's tough on my social life to have this schedule, which is why I am trying out this dating service.

I am very shy but friendly. When I was little I was diagnosed with a language disorder that was fixed by speech therapy but I have never been a fast, loud talker because of it.
