Born in Poland, where it gets to -30 °C, we fight polar bears for sport and drink vodka for breakfast. We are tough, ruthless people with no sense of humour. Travelled around the world and back, lived here and there, currently settled down in Mexico in order to become the world's greatest dancer. Miss the polar bears though.
What I’m doing with my life
Tried once to tour the very south of Lebanon (that's where
Hezbollah guys shoot their rockets from). Made friends with local
police, got a ride in their jeep, accidentally ended up holding
their machine gun, got questioned by an intelligence officer who
first took us for spies, then for suicidal maniacs and eventually
gave up and told us to go back.
Did the famous tubing in Vang Vieng, Lao. Actually, after the first
day I ditched the tubes and focused on the non-stop party, the jars
of vodka with coiled snakes inside and the death-defying swings
across the river. Sadly the place is closed now after too many
fatal accidents. I can see why, I still have a scar on my elbow as
a souvenir but can't remember exactly how I got it.
One day and night at the desert in Petra, Jordan with just an old
sleeping bag and, unfortunately, not enough water. Sleeping under
the stars, going where it's not allowed and miraculously finding a
bottle of water when I was seriously wondering if death from
dehydration hurts a lot. But having one of the new 7 Wonders of the
World completely for yourself: priceless.
I’m really good at
Pointing my camera at stuff and pressing the shutter. If you need some portraits taken, I'm actually not bad at that, and might be bribed into doing that with a cup of good coffee.
Travelling. Really, I've probably been to more countries than you can count. Not that I have a fetish for numbers, I just think travel is the best thing money can buy.
Moving on the dancefloor to the rhytms of salsa, bachata or (work in progress) kizomba. Yeah I know, white guys can't dance, but I like to prove people wrong.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm way taller than an average Mexican. You might think it's super
cool, but you'd change your mind if you were banging your head on
the TV screens in metrobuses all the time.
The six things I could never do without
My photo camera (yeah it's big, size matters)
Travelling to new countries
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The meaning of life, universe and everything
On a typical Friday night I am
Out there dancing
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Got my phone stolen in a gay club in Cuba. I just thought everyone
is trying to grope me for... other reasons, and was so focused on
protecting myself. Only time in my life I've been robbed.
You should message me if
You actually want to meet in person. I'm more funny face to face
than typing on a keyboard.
