I've lived in Decatur for most of my life. When I was younger I used to think I was introverted, but I've found I can't stand being alone unless I'm writing something. I'm usually in the city, but I teach south of the city at a high school. Mostly I like to have a good time with friends, new and old, and try to live life passionately.

Right now I'm teaching high school English. I want to eventually go back to school to pursue a career in higher ed but I enjoy what I do right now. Aside from that I'm just trying to have a life outside of work.

I'm really good at listening to my friends problems. Usually I can give them just the right amount of advice. I'm also pretty good at analyzing novels and writing (hence the whole English teacher thing).

My awesome personality and lack of ego.

My favorite book probably of all time would be The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien. It is probably the best novel about Vietnam I've ever read. I was also a huge fan of Tolkien in high school. I could list off books for ever, but I'll save that. I also like a lot of movies, ranging from the super absurd to absolutely serious. The movie Saved is hilarious. I also love watching cheesy movies and making fun of them. Music--I like almost anything. I don't really like a lot of country and some rap, but most everything else is up for grabs. My favorite food is either Pad Thai or steak and potatoes. They are both food of the gods.

I could never do without my friends/family, a good book, my running shoes, a dvd or two, my phone, or this pendant I've had since the fifth grade.

Most the time, I just like to think about thinking and what I'm feeling at any given moment.

Either in Decatur relaxing or in Atlanta trying to wreak havoc with old friends. Really it just depends, but I like to do something different every Friday. I hate being stuck around and bored on a Friday night.
