My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Self summary. Hmmm! What to write in this little white box. It is a lovely box but it doesn't fill my mind with thoughts and ideas of what to write. But lets give it a go.

I am Matthew. I live with Cornelius, he is a hamster that is very good at escapology. Personally I have never tried escapology but I have walked up Arthur's seat barefoot. Just to see if I could and I can. Although it was quite painful. I love raspberries and hate cheese.

Okay this is enough, writing about yourself in little boxes is tedious and strange. Its probably easiest to just have a chat. That's normally how conversations work! I am new to this online dating thing ... but I thought I would give it a shot. See what happens. So..... (my fingers are exhausted with all this typing) Byeeee
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am doing lots of things. I am a busy badger. Trying to pursue my career whilst making some dollar (actually pounds) to pay the rent and keep my toes warm.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking (not all things, but I like trying new stuff and I make a mean risotto). Drinking tea (I love a cuppa). Making a delicious G & T. Giving things a go even when I am a bit crap, for example badminton.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have not got the foggiest. Ask the people that meet and notice me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Here are a selection of some of my favourites, not an exhaustive list by all means:

Books... Stuff by Dave Gorman, Roald Dahl, Ben Elton, Danny Wallace, Stephen Fry. Goodnight Mr Tom. The occasional crappy murder book.

Movies ... (sorry Films) ... Withnail and I, Edward Scissorhands, most of the Muppets films, most Pixar, The Pianist, In the Name of the Father

Shows ... Black Books, IT Crowd, Spaced, The Muppets, David Attenborough stuff, Jonathan Creek

Music ... hmmm not really sure as I don't listen to a lot of specific music, its often just the radio on. But definitely Tim Minchin.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends. Theatre. Crisps. A Bath. Having a Laugh. Pen and Pad.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
(right now) Why is Cornelius (my hamster) in a strop!? (generally) Oooo I fancy some delicious tea...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Well this could be a plethora of things from pub to cinema to theatre to round a friends etc etc Its not always the same!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I own a Tweenie

You fancy a chat and are up for a laugh. That's sounds rather generic but I really do like a good laugh. Also contact me if you like trying slash doing new things. I am exploring Edinburgh, seeking out new and exciting things.
