I grew up in Boston, but LA feels like home. This city is only made more fun by the people you experience it with, so hit me up if you're interested in going on some adventures.

Books: Cormac McCarthy, Vonnegut, Lester Bangs, Palahniuk, Salinger, Kerouac, Woody Allen's short stories, Howard Zinn, Tom Robbins, Murakami, Jon Stewart's Naked Pictures of Famous People, Alan Moore, Cahiers du Cinema

Music: Indie and classic rock, soul, funk, blues and jazz. Everything good from The Black Keys to Stan Getz to Justice to Wu-Tang to The Stones to Com Truise to Nina Simone (I'm all over the place.) Lately I've been listening to Mojo's soul covers of Sticky Fingers (if you haven't heard it, I'll send you a copy) Moondog and Alice Coltrane. I don't know where this avant-garde jazz kick came from, but it's been interesting. Oh and the new Daft Punk is beyond perfect. I foresee a lot of late night dance parties happening in my near future. I love/need new music, so if you have any recommendations (in any genre) I'd be much obliged.

Movies: Art house to grindhouse, I like it all. I'm always down to check out screenings at any of the repertory theaters in town.

TV: Mad Men (pith to perfection) The Simpsons (Seasons 1-9) Modern Family, The Wire, 30 Rock, Archer, Six Feet Under, No Reservations, Game of Thrones, TCM, Peep Show, Happy Endings, Louie, Downton Abbey, Breaking Bad and anything Sorkin.

Food: I love to cook and I eat everything.

Script ideas, what to make for dinner... strange wondering diatribes about life, art and politics. My brain seems to love the sound of its own voice.

Going out to a dive bar, dancing, an art opening, the UCB, Largo or just staying in with friends and listening to records.

I would marry Paddy Chayefsky, I would f--- Mick Jagger (circa '68) and I would kill... well... I guess whomever gets in the way.

Lately at work, people keep catching me making facial expressions to the conversations I'm having in my head. I think I'm freaking my coworkers out.

Also, I have a secret love for Gilmore Girls... but perhaps I've said too much.

You have a good sense of humor and want to eat, drink and be merry. A lust for life is a must.
