My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am SIMPLE. If you find that boring, sorry. I am a simple man with simple needs. That doesn't mean that I am stupid or lazy or lack excitement. I just enjoy the simple things in life and don't require some phony means - dress, status, wealth, occupation, death-defying stunts - to find meaning and have fun. Saying that is not a cop-out. I am not trying to justify for any supposed lack in my life. I am just easy-going and don't need much.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I manage a restaurant downtown. In a couple years I plan on opening my own. It's not a glamorous business and the hours are long and thankless but if I allow myself to romanticize about it, there are a lot of things I do really enjoy about running a restaurant.
I am also writing two books which will probably never be published but I love to write even without any future incentive. This does not make me some artsy "writer" - I'm just a guy who enjoys writing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My two favorite things are reading and cooking. I do a lot of both, sometimes maybe too much. Perhaps my book collection is a little ridiculous. That's not a brag. I have a lot of books and it almost makes me uncomfortable that I have spent that much money on them. And yes, I have read most of them, not all but most. I read everything; every genre, whether its high or low literature, philosophy, economics, history, cook books and - "oh God," - even fantasy. I have that old fashioned notion that you should always follow one book with another of the opposite perspective. So, deciding which are my favorite books is kind of impossible for me.
And so I also cook, a lot. I hate cooking just for myself so I cook a lot for my friends. Even if everything hadn't already sounded like I was bolstering my ego, I'll indulge myself once more and say that I am a pretty damn good cook. With that being said, I like all types of food, but I might be partial to Korean.
