My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Just moved to Denver from Brooklyn in early February, so I'm very new here. Yes it's a dating site, but honestly also looking for anyone who might want to give me an idea on what I should see or do. It would be especially cool if you'd like to join, I love meeting new people.

I work in Financial Printing, which is pretty niche and not especially exciting from an outsider's perspective, but I can tell you all about it if you want! Basically, it keeps me busy 9-5ish and pays for my hobbies.

I moved to Denver specifically to get away from the coastal mega-cities, and I'm hoping to start a new life where I have more of a chance to appreciate life outside. I love camping and hiking, seeing live music outdoors, and enjoying great weather outside while drinking local beer. I've been told that these are all possible in Colorado.

My ideal weekend would involve packing my motorcycle with camping gear, riding into the mountains and sitting around a campfire with friends while drinking whiskey from a flask. Ideally, one friend has brought a banjo or guitar or something.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm settling into my new city! My days are spent working, but my evenings and weekends are open, so I'm seeing some local live music, enjoying some local breweries, and meeting new people.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
agreeing with the cliched response that this section feels like bragging. But...

I'm good at baking breads, although the altitude has thrown all my recipes into chaos.

I can quote many Daria episodes, although that's probably not brag-worthy.

I'm pretty good with handy things, like fixing broken appliances, putting up curtains or blinds, and working on motorcycle engines, but don't ask me to do any wiring, I'm too colorblind for that jazz.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like hats and I'm told my eyes are Shia Labeouf-esque, but "not in a crazy way". Cool, I guess? Frankly, I don't see it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I like pretty much any book that comes well recommended, so if anything, drop me a suggestion in a message.

Movies, I'm a big fan of the Coen Brothers, everything Pixar (especially Wall-E and Brave), and anything that had Joss Whedon attached in any way.

For TV, I don't have one, so it's mostly what I can binge on Netflix. Again, Joss Whedon anything, I'm a sucker for Ken Burns, but not a fan of anything along the lines of "World's Blank-est Blank!" or "America's Top Whatever".

Music, I could listen to anything, but I'm not specifically drawn to Jam bands, Rap, or Electronic. I can listen to The Hold Steady exclusively for days, love Americana and Folk, Blues, R&B, pretty much anything.

Food, I'm open to anything. Can it be eaten? I'll eat it, at least once. For example, tripe: better than it sounds. Haggis: no, I think once was enough. Steamed peas: NOPE.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
There's only one thing I could never do without and that would be a bottle of seltzer water. And a lime. So, two things. Seltzer, lime, and a knife to cut it with, and a glass.

The four things I could never live without would be a bottle of seltzer, a lime, a knife to cut it with, and a glass. With ice and a cocktail umbrella.

There. Six things.

Can I have a few more? A good book, Pandora, a camera, and a lint roller. For the cat hair.

My motorcycle.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
out and about. I'd rather be out than in, unless in includes game night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I wear an apron when I cook.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
I'm new to Denver, so message me if there's something great I should experience! I'm looking for friends as well as dating, so if you think having a drink and telling stories for a bit sounds good, say hello.
