Me: I am always cheerful and full of curiosity. My free time is filled with creativity: I have been playing classical piano since the age of 8 (www.youtu.be/MC8qaOxNuEU), I started composing tango music last year, I regularly go to Latin & tango dance classes (I started tango 10 years ago), and most recently I started Gyrotonics. I always have several projects going on with which I hope to leave my mark in this world.

I have a peculiar thing for girls with high cheekbones, and if you are one of those lucky ones then please don't be mad if on our first date I choose to stare at those instead of your beautiful you-know-whats...

You: Be between about 24 and 33, preferably tall (I am 6'6"), with a decent education, and most of all, be passionate about something you do (and I rather prefer this to be arts, music or dance than excel sheets). Do have a job (being a student counts), but don't be a workaholic.

After my math PhD (NYU) and post doc (Duke) I started in the risk management group of a major investment bank in downtown Manhattan. I never work on evenings or weekends.

Classical piano, Argentine tango, mathematics, connecting with animals, twisting your words around and turning them into an unbearable pun.

Books: I rather write than read.

Movies: Jim Carrey is a genius. I also like funny 3D animations, but I will watch Sleepless in Seattle with you. I am not a big fan of horror movies.

Music: Modern: Anything the radio throws at me. Classical: Yuja Wang, Evgeny Kissin (pianists); Franz Liszt, Sergei Rachmaninoff (composers).

Food: No spicy food, otherwise I am open to anything. I don't drink alcohol or coffee - I somehow never started liking the taste.
