My self-summary
Just graduated from University with a masters in molecular biology and so I'm back in Portsmouth for a little while before starting a postgraduate next year.

I spend entirely too long reading and not enough time writing. My life could be accurately stated to revolve around Tea.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently just working, trying to save up some money. Next year, I will be moving to either Toronto or Perth to start a PhD in molecular neuroscience.

On the days where I'm not working, you'll generally find me nose-deep in my Kindle or developing any kind of story plan. I am more excited than I care to admit about buying a punching bag.
I’m really good at
I adore languages (Elian), writing and cynicism. The simple pleasures are the best ones, tea and a good book.
The first things people usually notice about me
I haven't a clue. I'm not quite sure how to write this without sounding deeply narcissistic. I get along with everyone I guess, so the first thing you might notice is that I act pretty familiar with you off the bat. I am also pretty damned good at filling silences, if I do say so myself.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favourite books are way too many to list. Some of my favourite authors are: Brent Weeks, Patrick Rothfuss, Alistair Reynolds, Iain M. Banks, Peter Hamilton, Steven Eriksson and the fantastic Brandon Sanderson.

T.V. hovers around Game of Thrones.

Musically, it varies pretty wildly. In some moods I love Daughter, and in others I love Explosions in the Sky. Looking for new bands consumes a hefty party of my day. Best way to start a conversation is the introduce me to your favourite band.
The six things I could never do without
Kindle
Spotify
Freedom to Travel
Independence

On a typical Friday night I am
Currently? Either at work or at home. Graduate life combined with slight poverty isn't the most conducive towards a social life, unfortunately.
