My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Matt. I do a little of a lot of stuff, you might say I'm a jack of all trades (though I'm really more like a ten of most trades) :) . I have a passion for problem solving and I'm a bit of an information sponge. Music, history, physics, psychology, machinery, computer programming, and everything in between.

I'm doing a bit of a reset on my life right now, so I moved back to my home town for a little while to figure out my next step. I'll probably be here until around March and I'd like to make a few friends while I'm here.

I'm going to put this out there even if it makes me seem like a bit of a jerk. I'm not going to date anybody that has kids. It's not that I don't like kids, they can be great. I'm just not interested in dating someone that's that tied down. I'm also not in the slightest bit interested in starting something off as a long distance relationship. I realize that that makes this profile basically a waist of bits on a server somewhere. Two reasons why. The first is that I have my doubts about how possible it is for two people to honestly get to know each other when multiple hours of driving are invested each time they meet. The second is that I doubt a person who's willing to put that amount of investment into a relationship with a person they've never met could be mentally stable.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I wasn't satisfied with my career options so I dropped out of the working world for a while to learn some electronic engineering and computer programming. Full disclosure, I'm currently living with my parents. I know, looser, but sometimes you've got be a loser for a while to get ahead.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at a lot of completely useless things and some very useful things.

Eating lots of food without gaining any weight, including whole loaves of sourdough bread and brown cow yogurt by the quart.

Fixing things or making something I need from random stuff around the house. I take way to much joy in that.

Thinking OKC is judging me;

I honestly don't know.

It's really hard to nail down a favorite book, movie, or TV show. It would be hard to compare Terry Pratchett to Orson Scott Card (I hate the author, but Ender's Game was brilliant, I didn't see the movie). As for food... I like food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Above all else, I could never do without my cerebral cortex. It's my most prized possession. Sure if it were damaged I might still be able to live, but I really like my conscious thought and the things it allows me to see and do.

After that it's air (I really, really like air)

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Food and how everything is better with sourdough

Cultural paradigms

Math... so much math.

How to convey tone in a purely text format.

Ways to leave the world a better place than I found it.

*"But even ordinary books are dangerous….A man sits in some museum and writes a harmless book about political economy and suddenly thousands of people who haven’t even read it are dying because the ones who did haven’t got the joke."
-Terry Pratchett

Anything that interests me (a whole lot of stuff)

There's also a new development that's puzzling me; why do so many people with percents of zero to ten look at my page? How do they even come across it?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Spending time with friends or hanging out at my house.

You want someone who's not a douche to spend some time with.

You are awesome.
