Your Notes
Edit your notesI am simple, inquisitive, and creative.
My Self-Summary
I'm generally keeping to myself nowadays, working on some projects or occasionally spending time with friends. Other than that, it's been calm.
Having many interests, I tend to think randomly and quite often. However, I do have a strong personality and a clear point of view, but it is fun to just space out every once in awhile. I used to have this clear cut plan to get my degree in whatever seemed to be more profitable, to live a life of comfort. Now, however, my life is quite different. I've made sure that my life revolves around the people, activities, and pursuits that are dear to me instead of an image of what society expects out of me. I am an artist, no matter how little profit I get from it. I'm a lover, no matter how many times it hasn't worked out with the women I've seen. I'm very passionate, and I believe in myself and what I do.
Art is my life. It is really important to me, so much that it has been the determining factor in a lot of my decisions in life. I really appreciate the Renaissance painters (Caravaggio, I love you), and I've grow towards modern design (yatzer.com). I enjoy silence, but I also look forward to occasional outbursts of fun, maybe at some random party or having an occasional get together with friends with my greatest bud, wine! I've recently realized that I'm a spiritual person in a sense, or at least in my own way. I enjoy the writings of Kahlil Gibran and Jiddu Krishnamurti, and I really respect great poets such as Czeslaw Milosz and Joseph Brodsky. Kurt Vonnegut is also a favorite of mine, and Chuck Palahniuk has been moving up ever since he wrote Rant. Nature, or rather my connection with the rest of the world is really important to me. I cherish the natural beauty of this world, and I openly embrace the many cultures that dwell on Earth. I'm a traveller. I have seen many places already, and I know I will continue to once the time arises (or when money magically appears and fills up my closet).
What I’m doing with my life
I'm also planning on moving into the city when Spring arrives. I might move out of state with a few colleagues of mine in the near future, but in the end, any change of scenery will do.
I’m really good at
Also, I'm a good conversationalist. I enjoy conversations of any kind, but I do have a soft spot for music or film or anything that anyone does that's creative.
My friend's also say that my perseverance is unmoving. When I learn something, I keep trying until I get it right. I've been learning how to play drums recently and I can never seem to get away from the drum set until I've understood the beat I've been practicing.
The first things people usually notice about me
People also notice how generally nice and sincere I am. I can be a goof ball from time to time, so that tends to not go unnoticed as well.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love movies, and too many to try and type on here. Just ask! Also, I love LOST so much!!!!! New shows that are pretty great that I've been watching are Community and FlashForward. How I Met Your Mother is amazing as well.
Books: Chuck Palahniuk, Kurt Vonnegut, Kahlil Gibran, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Arthur Nersiason, Henry Miller, Joesph Brodsky, Alan Moore, Czeslaw Milosz, Vladimir Nabokov, Richard Brautigan, Charles Bukowski, James P. Othmer, etc.
The six things I could never do without
-A paintbrush (and paint)
-Orange juice (no pulp!)
-My macbook (and subsequently, my music)
-A good Riesling (for the Summer months)
-And that momentous, fun evening with my friends that usually occurs at the end of every year, where I drink way too much wine and make a complete fool out of myself, yell at the television whenever Brady kills me with the fucking sword in Halo (I hate Halo and I hate the sword), and when I finally hit the bed and dream of naked women or actually being Speed Racer!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
-If I should get a Daft Punk tattoo. I know, I'm a nerd.
-If doing the "Naked Man" actually works, and if I should try it.
-My current painting projects.
-My impact on the world and how I can make the Earth a better place somehow.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm currently working on a pretty large painting, so a lot of late nights are committed to that as well...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
You should message me if
I find myself talking about almost anything, no matter how weird the subject matter may be, so don't be shy.
