I am honest, loyal, and mostly sarcastic.

I could probably fill this space with way too much information to read but I've decided that less is more so I'll try to keep it brief. Probably the most important thing to know is that I love what I do, and I'm happy in life.

I'm a really easy person to get along with. I'm extremely honest, mostly because I feel it's a waste of time not to be, but also because I'm not a good liar. I'm a little bit shy when I first meet someone, but pretty quickly get comfortable and open up so don't worry about that.

I have a degree in game development, but that's not always what I do. I'm a programmer, and while games are my passion I'm currently working on developing an app for a doctor's office. Despite what you may have heard, I'm not nearly as socially awkward as you'd expect from a programmer, either. I'm currently the lead programmer at a small educational game company.

Outside of work, much of my efforts are dedicated to closing the deal on buying my first house. It's a very exciting time.

Anything involving computers or people. I'm told I have a way with words, which I suppose makes me a social nerd. I'm big on psychology, and I love to debate; anything from serious topics to completely random nonsense.

I make good conversation. I'm no first impression legend, but one of the things I hear a lot when getting to know someone is that I was more fun to talk to than they expected. I'm only left to assume I'm either really dull on paper or strangely amazing in practice.

Books: Myst, Harry Potter, Dan Brown, Ender's Game
Movies: A wide range from the Matrix to Big Fish to the Notebook to the Dark Knight.
Music: U2, Darren Hayes, Linkin Park, Blue October, 80s, Michael Jackson, Innerpartysystem, Passion Pit, Infected Mushroom, Skrillex (don't judge,) Gotye, techno, indie, and kind of the same principal as movies
Shows: Supernatural. Yes, Supernatural needs it's own sentence, it's that important (Like A1, only better.) Seriously, I don't know anyone who's given it a shot that doesn't love it. After that, House, Lie to Me, Fringe, Smallville, Numb3rs, Bones, Heroes, Lost, Sherlock, Criminal Intent
Food: Outback Steakhouse. 'Nuff said. But seriously, meat and potatoes. Also a big fan of Italian in general.
Games: RPGs (Square.) Any fun multi-player FPS to play with friends (Halo, L4D.) Prince of Persia, Mass Effect, Battlefront, and many more.

Too much to list here. I generally drive a lot (though finally now I work from home,) so I have plenty of time to think. I tend to think about the world around me. I do have terrible short-term memory, so I spend a good portion of my day trying to remember if I'm supposed to be doing something important...

There's no typical "Friday" for me, and I'm a night owl so nights are my day. When I want to do something, I do it. If I go out somewhere, my favorite thing to do is eat or if I can find someone to go with, hike. If I'm staying in, I like to game (video, board, or otherwise) with friends, or anything involving proximity with someone special. I'm more into doing active things than clubbing or bar hopping.

Not really very private, but my only two fears are dolls and spiders. The doll thing's more of a running gag at this point, but they are creepy. Spiders are no joke though. I don't mess with arachnids. I'll take care of any bugs for you if you need me too, except those...
