My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm from Oklahoma -- yep, that state -- and moved to LA about three years ago. Cutting to the chase is my jam, so here's a list of random things you should know about me:

• I'm 93% sure I don't have a southern accent.
• I think every movie should have a song-and-dance number in it.
• I don't use emoticons unless other people use them first.
• (I overuse parentheticals.)
• I was raised conservative but turned out liberal.
• I have an INTJ personality, if you're into that stuff.
• I think Take Me Home Tonight is a criminally underrated movie.
• I am a feminist. (Yes, really.)
• My day-to-day decisions are based on coin flips. (I have an app.)
• I resent OkCupid for saying I'm "Less Friendly to Strangers."
• I openly weeped during the series finale of Alias.
• I hate talking on the phone. Face to face wins. (Also, text.)
• A lot of folks are into hiking. I'm pretty whatever about that.
• From now on, this is how I sit in chairs.
• I think I'm a hypochondriac, but that may just be the hypochondria talking.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated with a degree in Filmmaking and a minor in Art History. Now I'm a writer/reviewer for an entertainment website called IGN. I'm also a freelance videographer, video editor and... aspiring screenwriter (wah, waaah).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Alphabetizing, assembling IKEA furniture, decorating for Christmas, explaining computer stuff to old people, impersonating Patrick Stewart, and whistling. (I seriously whistle all the time.)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It's okay, you can say it: I kinda look like Moby.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Caffeine
2) Writing
3) Netflix
4) Internet
5) Whatever they have on tap
6) Pizza
7) Star Wars

I know that's seven, but Star Wars is really important. (I have the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser on loop.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What TV show I should watch while I'm eating. Also, dieting (but seldom actually doing it).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably at home, usually drinking and marathoning shows with my roommate. Other times out at a bar with friends. (Note: bars ≠ clubs)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The prospect of building LEGO sets as an adult sounds really super fun.

You're NOT a Republican or "very serious" Christian. Otherwise, go nuts. I'm chill if you are.

Bonus points if you answer correctly: Who shot first?

Troll the respawn, Jeremy!
