I am very caring, easy going, love to laugh and have a good time and enjoy my yard, love to take pictures of hummingbirds and eastern blue birds that come to visit me or nest here. Love gardening and nature, a good movie and a glass of wine in good company. Have 3 adult sons that make me proud.
I have done a lot of travel, mostly due to work, in Europe, Asia, Africa, and latin America. I love Opera...after living 5 years in Italy i got hooked.

I am straight forward and honest and I like the same.
Romance?...to me its a habit of making the other person feel special, by spending time with them, saying just the right
words, giving just the right gifts at the opportune moment, taking her to the right place on a date, or a weekend getaway, remembering special occasions and milestones, in short devoting oneself to making sure the other feels loved...

I have opinions about everything but I am not judgmental. My opinions guide how I vote and how I lead my life, not how I pick my friends or significant others. Some good friends have very different views from mine. Long political discussions are a big turn off for me. I find most people already have their political minds made up and have very little interest in listening. I do not believe that one party is perfect and holds the absolute truth while the other party is completely wrong. Reality is much more complex than that.

Im not into football....sorry. I also dont like beer. I know, that is different. The only sporting events i watch on TV are the summer olympics, the world cup (soccer), and THE superbowl. I have been to watch the Braves play at turner field many times.

Working, enjoying life's simple pleasures, travelling when I can...

being a friend, listening, being there for people, gardening, nature photography (whether birds or whales), and setting up a molecular biology laboratory in the desert in a tent...
