Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a patient person generally and I like a calmness to envelope
my world... but still manage to party when I need to shake things
up a bit. If something bothers me I'm not afraid to be honest and
talk about it respectfully
As for the direction my life is going right now, I decided to
become a Massage Therapist and attended the Florida College of
Natural Heath. I've finished and can go into the world being able
to better help those around me. Now the plans are tentative...
learning to speak Japanese is high on the list and then maybe yoga
instruction....we'll see. I'm fairly "neo-hippy" but blend in well
with all social environments.
I'm also a visual artist. I tend to work mainly in sumi-e and
watercolors now, but I can work in acrylics and oils if the mood
strikes me. My process is meditative more than anything and I don't
have much ambition to be well know or famous. To be honest most of
my pieces live in nice folders on my bookshelf waiting for someone
to come along and appreciate them.
I moved to Miami 9 years ago from a very rural town in Tennessee.
The first years here were very hard for me, but I've come to
understand the city and it's attitude. My friends are my family
here and they are very important to me.
I'm looking for someone that ends up being my best friend,
regardless of any romantic entanglements we may get ourselves into.
Ideally it would be both, but life doesn't seem to work out that
way too often so I'm just rolling with the punches from now on...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living it. I don't let bumps in the road get me down and always try
to be positive.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being crafty and creative. Listening, helping others, being
entertaining or random as the mood strikes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Tolkein (although I get exasperated with him sometimes)
Anne McCaffery's Dragon Riders of Pern
Roger Zelazny's The First (and Second) Chronicles of Amber
Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles
Umm...yeah I like to read authors who create their own worlds and
extremely long story lines. I read to entertain myself and I like
to get lost in fantasies.
When I'm not reading random fantasy novels I have my head buried in
Zen and the Japanese culture, D.T. Suzuki
Living by Zen, Suzuki
The Roaring Stream: A new Zen reader, Foster & Shoemaker
Blowing Zen, Ray Brooks
The Zen teachings of Bhodidharma translated by Red Pine
And my list keeps growing in this category...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Affection, friends, Paint and brushes, music, my Shakuhachi
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
LOL this can be a tricky one. My mind does it's own thing and I
reign it in when it goes a little too far off the deep end.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with my friends and getting into and or out of
Staying in and enjoying some solitude
just depends on my mood......
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Umm....yeah no. I take some things to the grave.

You are looking for an honest, quirky, nice, caring person to get
to know. Or if you just want a cuddle buddy....I could really use
one of those.
