Pardon the slow completion; I probably won't ever prioritize this profile thing too highly, and am very slow at open ended questions.

Work 8-5, M-F at a job 30 min away. I'm saving up to go back to college and get that bachelor's degree and/or to find a house, rent-to-buy.

Favorite book is Catch-22, favorite movie Dr. Strangelove. Those are the standard answers I give because there are so many works in each category. I read Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire, and am interested in horror films. Or action. Or comedy, or...

TV shows: I'll start with Simpsons, Futurama, Burn Notice, Farscape, liberal media (mainly Young Turks and Colbert), and action cartoons. Many, many action cartoons.

Music is a big love of mine. I like modern and hard rock, like Soil, System of a Down, turn-of-the-millennium Korn, Disturbed, ect., industrial rock, and some alternative. I also listen to metal, originally heavy, thrash and power most, but have moved more into death and, well, various genres that have progressive structures (still not Dream Theater, though!). Other than rock based music, I grew up with 90's Eurodance and trance, and still listen to techno occasionally. I like the new Dubstep music and am a causal fan of Drum and Bass. The (sub) genre I'm most interested in is Gothic Metal (the non-pop infested type), a type somewhat related to all of the above. Sprinkle a little bit from a lot of other genres in (pop to hip-hip to industrial to new age), and that may about cover it. :)

Food: Plain. VERY plain. Like, I don't every really do soup - too much mixed to-gether. Bread's good.
