What I’m doing with my life
I'm a researcher for a political comedy show. So I know a whole lot
about very little.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books... A lot of Vonnegut (Mother Night, Slapstick especially).
Bukowski (novels, not poems). David Sedaris. Most of Woody Allen's books.
Jesus' Son. Currently reading Jailbird.
I am currently enforcing a podcast embargo to get myself back into reading.
Movies... Anything that involves someone overcoming adversity. You know, like Akeelah and the Bee... Or Revenge of the Nerds. Currently obsessing over Star Trek.
Music... I will tell you that I am getting into the Clash. This is true, but I have strategically left out the details about my terrible musical taste.
Food... This is a subject I'm more passionate about than music. Indian, Sushi, Thai, Ethiopian, Sandwiches, Fruit, Vegetables, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, pretty much anything that doesn't involve beets. Oh, and BRUNCH.
