My self-summary
I am currently working in Rockville, MD, developing educational software, while trying to find time to develop an indie game on the side. I'm at a point in my life where I'm concerned with achieving greatness; specifically, I really want to design and develop quality video games for a living. My dream is to someday be self-employed, and I will keep fighting for that goal until I get there. I can't say that I dislike anyone on a personal level, but there is no attitude that I hate more than the "You need to tone down your expectations and ambitions and be more realistic" mindset. It sickens me, and I can't stand to be around people like that; the vast majority of the time, those individuals made horrible choices such as having children early which precluded them from reaching their own dreams to some extent. That isn't to say that there aren't forces at work keeping people from success, or that many people aren't less privileged, because those are very real problems; however, the level of severe apathy and lack of ambition definitely is not helping. I also immensely dislike it when there are those who try to frame career and life choices entirely around income; "doing this doesn't have alot of money in it, so you should do this, instead." It isn't about amassing a fortune; it's about doing great, significant things.

I'm not here looking for sex, but I'm also not here expecting deep romance. I don't see myself as being the type of person who would "settle down" and have kids; I would only ever consider that after having reached my goals (And if I was ever at that point in my life, I'd probably have to be convinced to not opt for adoption; we have a growing population and there are too many children out there without families, so why bring another child into this world when one could adopt one for one's own?). I'm looking for people who I can relate to on some level and have great conversations with. If a relationships comes out of it, great. If a friendship comes out of it, great. I'm not really expecting anything.

My interests range from programming to video games (And video game development) to movies to animation to comic books (Especially of the DCU variety, though I haven't kept up with the mainstream comic 'verses for about a year or so) to the internet to politics to transhumanism.
What I’m doing with my life
Full-time job, co-running a small video game development business on the side. I am constantly trying to create things and better myself. I'm not satisfied with where I am in life right now, and I want to achieve more; on some level, I don't think I'll ever be satisfied. At the very least, it keeps me from becoming complacent with my own failings.

Over the last month, I've started eating far less and far healthier than I have been, and I've been regularly working out at the gym, in a massive effort to live a healthier, more energetic, and ultimately better life. I've also began taking martial arts classes, and I take up to 12+ dietary supplements a day. Needless to say, I've been feeling a lot better, both physically and emotionally; there was no justification in a young man like me being as unhealthy as I was.
I’m really good at
Fitting in as many hashtags as possible in my tweets.
The first things people usually notice about me
The fact that I am a big, bearded guy with glasses who frequently alternates between being loud and bombastic and being quiet and reserved depending on the context.
