My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm pursuing my dreams, and connecting with many others along the way. I guess I have my head in the clouds a large quantity of the time.

I'm a software and educational game developer by day, indie game developer by night, and I'm involved in several of DC's tech and developer groups.

I'm easily distracted by cute animal pictures, I overuse the ":P" emoticon and I'm a fan of bad puns and absurdist humour/dada. You have been warned.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working a software development job by day, creating video games by night, and aiming for self-improvement along the way.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like to think that the first thing people notice about me is that I'm fun and friendly, or at least I hope they do. It deeply saddens me when I can't be friends with another individual.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Compassion/Empathy. It took me a while to realize it, and I deeply regret walling off my feelings from others for so many years, but human connection is very, very important to me.

Entertainment/the Arts. Compassion and empathy are great, and the arts help to facilitate human connections and joy. Video games and film in particular are my passions.

Science/Technology. The wide variety of art and entertainment we enjoy today are made possible by science and technology. It is with humanity's body of knowledge that we will further achieve new heights and even new planes of existence.

Philosophy/Reason. However, we need strongly reasoned ethics and thought to guide science and technology; it's what you do and *why* with knowledge that counts.

...four things, yeah, but that's pretty close, right? :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where my life is going, how I'm going to fix the bug that cropped up in my code this morning.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If they're available, hanging out with my friends and doing something fun somewhere in D.C., like drinking, dancing, or watching movies.

If they're not, making video games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There used to be a pun here about pirates and beards, but I shaved mine. :(
