My self-summary
I recently moved back home to Delaware after a year in Pennsylvania. I have been back in the Delaware beach region and I am getting comfortable with being back. I am reconnecting with old friends, building new connections, and letting the waves take me. I am an entrepreneur, a musician, therapist, artist, and instructor. If you are interested in learning more about me, send me a message!
What I’m doing with my life
I own my own music therapy private practice that provides music-based therapeutic services in both Kent and Sussex counties. I also work during the school-year as a substitute teacher/instructor, I am on staff at a local music school/studio, and I work PT as a sales associate. I guess you can say I keep myself busy lol
I’m really good at
Playing every instrument known to man except the Viola, Flute, and every other classical string instrument.

Songwriting- I have written a few songs and jingles which I have entered in contests

Cooking- Unless I get distracted and burn something.

Listening to people-The arc of being a good therapist is listening (so my professors told me), so I have learned that listening skills can only do a person good.

Persistence- You need it if you want to be a musician or therapist.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes-They are pretty blue
My ability to listen
My ever-changing facial hair (I am currently clean-shaven) lol
My reserved demeanor
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Non-fiction novels, Political books, Stephen King, Historical books, self-help
Movies: Silence of the Lambs (I love psychology), One flew over the cookoos nest, Girl Interrupted, A beautiful mind, horror films, historical films such as Frost/Nixon, Charlie Wilson's War, Walk the Line, Ray, Enemy at the Gates, etc. musicals (yes I like them) and comedies such as american pie, Adam Sandler, or any classic 80's film.

Music: Most genres except explicit rap and twangy country/bluegrass music, although I keep an open mind. I am a lover of British pop/rock and consider Lennon/McCarney my songwriting inspiration. I am a jazz/blues and classical performer as a vocalist and trumpeter and consider composers such as Debussy, Ravel, Rachmaninov, Bizet, and Chopin my favorite composers. I love jazz trumpeters like Louis Armstrong, Chet Baker, Wynton Marsalis, and Allen Vizutti

Food: I'll eat anything. Say no more.
The six things I could never do without
1. Friends
2. Family
3. My instruments
4. My new car (kinda need one to get to work)
5. My cellphone (I hate to admit it, but what the heck)
6. A good non-fiction or psychology book
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Mrs. right, how to be a better person, self-awareness, which bills I need to pay next, what I need to save for next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Typically, I work till 9:30 PM, so when I do go out it's usually to hear my friends bands play or if I am playing with a band.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I live with a parent while I save enough for my new home. I decided that paying rent is like leasing a car.
