My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm sorry if this profile currently disappoints, but hang in there, it will get better. Eventually I will overcome my problem with decisions and find out what to say.

I come from a loving family. I have one younger brother. I'm originally from Hudson, Ohio but I don't like telling people that because of the assumptions made. I never fit in there. I came to Kent for college and fell in love with the city and I finally found somewhere where I belong.

I am straight edge. This means I won't drink, smoke, sleep around, or do drugs. I'm rational about it though.I am not against using caffine or medications. I'm not a dick to those that drink or smoke. I don't care if others drink or smoke, I tend to let people make their own choices. I'm not vegan or vegetarian.

I am a person who is loving, loyal, organized and laid back.

If I am close friends with anyone, I have a funny, dorky side. It takes awhile for me to get that way though.

I like to collect vinyl and I like going to concerts, baseball games, hockey games, movies, and pretty much anything else- I'll try anything once.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
1. I earned a bachelors degree in high school social studies education with a concentration in sociology in May of 2012.

2. I am finishing another bachelors degree in advertising.

Both degrees are from Kent State University.

I work two jobs. I am a dog/house sitter and I work as an IT assistant at Kent State

Eventually, I will be interning at an advertising agency or something similar.

someday, I would like to be a college professor. I would also like to teach technology, sociology, or American history in high school. As far as advertising goes, I would like to do media or consumer research for an advertising agency.

I would also like to share a house with someone I care about, travel, go to concerts and have several dogs.

other than that, I just want to "live my dash." take each day as it comes and see what happens
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
1. Being the best friend anyone could ever ask for. I am the person who is able to read that you need support and I am there. I'm the person that will bend over backwards to help you out, re-arrange an entire schedule to spend time with you, and actually listen to what you are saying. I put the people I care about first. It makes me happy knowing that all of my friends and family are happy.

2. listening. That is a big part of any relationship. I think that it is the easiest way to show you care about anyone.

3. being creative. I am artistic and I enjoy doing crafts. I love coming up with unique ideas.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
1. My eyes- they are a kind of green-gold-brown mix that tends to change.
2. That I'm left-handed... No joke
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books:

I used to read a lot growing up, but I have had my fill reading books in college. I try to read in the summer.I am trying to read more. I like to read non-fiction books about topics I am interested in (music, history, psychology, biographies, etc.) I also like mysteries. I haven't read a lot of sci-fi books but I would like to. If I had to choose, I would say my favorite book is Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. My least favorite genre to read is fantasy.

currently, I am reading Woman on the Edge of Time. It has sci-fi themes and I like it so far.

Movies:

I am a cinefile. I love looking at movies from a technical standpoint. I also love watching movies to unwind. I love disney movies particularly Mulan and Beauty and the Beast. Other favorites are Wayne's World and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I also like super-hero movies like the Avengers, Thor, Captain America, and The Batman trilogy. I like Pirates of the Caribbean franchise as well. In general, I prefer Action, Sci-fi, documentaries, comedies, and some horror.

Music is the single most important thing to me. I like most every genre except for dubstep and techno. (there has to be some talent preset) I mostly listen to punk and hardcore, but I have a soft spot for 80s, and 70s rock, ska, and a little country.

TV:

I watch A LOT of TV, often when Im working on homework. It is a stress reliever. I also watch a lot of shows on the food network (chopped and the like)

sons of anarchy, the office, parks and recreation, walking dead, the voice, American horror story, New Normal, Private Practice, Whose Line is it Anyway?, The Office, and many others that I can't think of right now

Sports:
My two favorite sports are Hockey and Baseball

Musicals:
Les Miserables, RENT, The Producers, Avenue Q, Footloose, Grease, Love Never Dies, The Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia, Wicked, and others.

Food:
I like most food in moderation, but there are some things that I am not a fan of.

I love pizza and wings

I don't really like seafood, I am allergic to shrimp

My favorite cuisines are Mexican and Italian
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Friends
2. Family
3. Pets
4. Netflix
5. Technology
6. Memories
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My future, specifically getting a job and establishing my adult life.
My friends and how they will fit into my future
I like to think about how my life could be different if I had chosen to do things differently, sort of like those choose-your-own-adventure books
I also think about the issues and the state of society

I question the idea that I don't mean enough to the current people in my life for them to treat me well and with respect.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I usually work, but afterwards I try to spend time with my friends. I hang around the house, go out to dinner, or have movie marathons with my roommates. I like to do crafts. Sometimes I go shopping. But you can guarantee that I will find something to watch on netflix to unwind.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
All of this makes me a bit nervous, I may be afraid to fall in love

If you have more to say than "hi" or "waddup?" I mean seriously, what am I supposed to say to that? If your intent is to start a conversation, then say something important.
