Hi! My name is Melody, I love to have fun but I'm a pretty laid back person, almost tomboy-ish at times. I love to spend time with friends and go to JP's to drink beer, sing karaoke and sometimes clubs to dance, if I've had enough to drink. At home I love to cook and play videos games, read and do whatever else I'm into at that time, I tend to change my mind a lot. I go back and forth between little hobbies like painting and knitting. I like to keep busy and always have something to do when I'm home. There are a lot of things I'd still love to do and try and I'd love to get out more, kayaking and walking through the woods, things like that, I'm just looking for someone to do these things with, someone with different interests to push me to try new things.

I work at JP's every Friday night, hosting karaoke. I absolutely love working there and have made a ton of great friends. It's a lot of fun and if you've never been there for karaoke, I highly suggest it. I finished a culinary course earlier in the year so I'm looking for a job in that line of work. I love to cook and do it as often as I can.

I like to think I'm really good at cooking, and I love to do it. I'm also pretty good at making people laugh. I'm also really good at softball, but I haven't played in a long time...

My hair, not so much now that I cut about 25 inches off....but still, my hair is nice and curly. I've also been told I have pretty eyes and a nice smile.

I love all sorts of books, mainly fantasy though, books like Harry Potter, but I also really enjoy satires like Carl Hiaasen. I just started reading some Dean Koontz and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. It seems I like suspense novels too!

My favorite food are the foods I grew up with, hearty home cooked meals like pot roast and lasagna. But there's not a lot of food I won't eat, I love to cook and to try new things.

I love comedies and fantasy movies, some of my favorites are Anchor Man, Grandma's Boy, Borat, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Moulin Rouge and so many others that I really can't name them all.

I'm open to all sorts of music, I went though a HUGE Gree Day phase and I still love them and right now my favorite band is Mumford and Sons, but I love a little bit of everything from metal to some country.

Weeds is one of my all time favorite TV shows and I'm really looking forward to the new season of Dexter. I love love love Game of Thrones and cannot wait for the new season. I'm very impatient. I watch a ton of things on the Food Network and I still love cartoons. I watch Adult Swim but I also watch all my favorite old shows, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren and Stimpy and even Rugrats now and again. And I have to mention Invader Zim! It's one of my all time favorite cartoons and I can watch the reruns over and over. I even named my dog Gir. His personality fits perfectly.

Food and video games. I love cooking for friends and Family. But I really think about everything, my mind is always jumping from one thing to another, I've never really been able to meditate or anything along those lines just because my mind is always going. I've always liked to think about what I would spend a million dollars on, what I would buy for myself, my friends and family and how much I could help people.

Out with my friends at the bar, downtown drinking and singing karaoke or at home, on the computer, playing video games or relaxing and watching TV.
