My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Reaching out to others is a part of me and I will help anyone within my capabilities (what goes around, comes around). Some people mistake this for a sign of weakness, but giving requires much strength and thoughtfulness to do it freely (you just need to know your boundaries). The joy of making someone smile or laugh can be rewarding in itself, especially by helping those who need it the most. I believe we should seek out people who can make us laugh when we are about to lose it and smile when we are convinced we've lost that ability. Tell me, have you ever laughed so hard that you lost all muscle control and breathing became something you had to tell yourself to do? What a spectacular feeling! ;D My abundant enthusiasm and energy are put to good use by observing and analyzing what life is all about, experiencing it, and contemplating how I can make the best out of mine. I put my whole heart and soul into everything I do! How else can we make our dreams come true, other than reaching high to achieve them? People and their uniqueness are beautiful to me, just as the natural world is, where finding pleasure in the simplicity of nature can be inspiring and emotionally cleansing. What an uplifting feeling nature can give you, making you forget your worries and acting as a muse to people that enjoy writing as I do! I love sharing stories and learning how one came to be the person right in front of me. I'm very open about mine and love forming bonds with others, whatever type of bonds they may be. Some important words in my world are respect, loyalty, romance, imagination, passion, courage, wisdom, communication, kindness, love, and compassion. The Beatles once sang, “All You Need is Love,” and I firmly believe that love and kindness are the body’s spine, which keeps the rest of it from crumbling. I have a lot of love to share, I’m just looking for the right friends and partner in life to appreciate and reciprocate it.

As for personality, many describe me as a genuine, friendly, fun-loving person who goes after what she wants with persistence. With me, conversations can vary from deep and intimate to light-hearted and spontaneous. I know when I must be serious, but I love to let loose and be silly too. I know what I want and know myself well through self-reflection. Some great passions of mine are writing, music, movies, nature, and traveling....so if you share some with me, let's talk about them! Curiosity makes me hate to miss out on what I could be a part of and I strive to live in the moment each day. I love surprises and trying new things, so challenges spark my interest. I have a soft spot for romance, so little gestures never go unnoticed or unappreciated by me. If you inspire me, I may even write you a poem. The dreamer in me loves getting lost in the endless possibilities.

I am genuinely friendly, empathetically kind, and deeply perceptive.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
is a loaded question, wow! I grew up in NY and went to college upstate for my Bachelors in Early Childhood/Elementary Education/English, and my Masters in Literacy (Reading Specialist). I moved here to PA to be closer to my best friend and what I call my "second family." I am in the process of getting my PA Reading Specialist certification, since that is my ideal job! Right now, I am a Pre-Kindergarten teacher at a school for low-income families and I feel I've found my niche for now with 3-5 year olds. It must be because I can be as silly as I want to and I get to be a part of their beginning school and reading experiences. I find children endearing and would love to have my own one day. Teaching is definitely something I am passionate about and enjoy doing. It makes me feel alive and I still get goosebumps sometimes. I also love going on little adventures, making new friends, dining out, deep conversations, long walks/jogs, concerts, movies, museums, writing, learning, web-surfing, yoga, singing, dancing, playing group games, and just being with genuinely warm family and friends. Most importantly, I'm setting goals to fulfill my dreams and taking the steps to achieve them. Want to join me in the fun?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
reading people's emotions (most people don't realize this until they get to know me) and being attuned to my own senses. I'm also pretty skilled in making people smile and/or laugh, being really silly, looking at the brighter side of life, singing from the heart, listening to and supporting a person in need, comforting and nurturing needs of others, sharing personal stories and thoughts, descriptive writing and word play, baking from the heart, creating a cozy home, using my imagination, making/finding presents with great thoughtfulness and creativity, making things special with little touches, noticing things about people and genuinely complimenting them, motivating and supporting passions in people, teaching through example, and depth of thought and feeling.
The first things people usually notice about me

are my eyes and my smile (I smile a lot). People say they can tell right away that I'd be easy to talk to because of my personable nature. I'm told it's hard to ignore my vigorous laugh, since I laugh with my whole being when something amuses me. Most people miss my depth because I do appear bubbly most of the time. ;)

are numerous and ever-changing. I find myself constantly having to change or update favorites because I appreciate things for so many different reasons. I love red, but I will change my mind if you ask my favorite color, depending on my mood. Colors and music enhance my moods greatly, so I can appreciate all the styles and moods they bring and revel in their unique beauty. One of my favorite things to do is cuddle under a blanket, eating popcorn and watching movies on rainy afternoons. Also, I love listening to live music in a park/coffee shop or singing along with a favorite tune while driving aimlessly. If I am with a good friend or sweet guy while creating these moments, what an enhanced experience!!!

More favorite things: roller coasters, eyes, cozy chairs, blankets, books, journals, stories, mythology, watching people, affection, smiles, fruit, scarves, words, yoga, photos, sha'bam/zumba classes, precious memories, thoughtful gifts, romantic gestures, courtship, kind people, warm hugs, kisses from a special person, and a calm peacefulness I call home (actually, some special people feel like home to me).

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
are:

1. Support (Good Friends and Family)
2. Enjoyment/Playfulness (Smiles and Laughter)
3. Heart (Love and Compassion)
4. Inspiration (Music, People, Nature)
5. Learning (Internet, Books, Journals, and Experiences)
6. Communication (Words and Ears)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
anything, you name it! My mind is like a cruising car on a road that never ends. I think about life mostly and how to enjoy mine. I ponder "Why?" all the time and I am fascinated by what I discover. I'm curious about what makes people tick and revel in learning about them. I dream about what I wish for and figure out ways to make my dreams into reality. Wanna come dream with me?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
usually hanging out with good friends. I enjoy couch cuddling if I have someone special to cuddle up with. ;) On occasion, I enjoy a game night with friends, dinner and/or a movie, and exploring Philly on the weekends. Any new experience is an exciting adventure!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

is that I tear up during dramatic movies, sad or happy. I will try to hide it and I am pretty good about it, but occasionally I get caught tehehehehe. I just really get into the sentiment of movies, can you blame me? I also will admit that I have a thing for guys who are musically talented and/or have a charming way with words (sigh) ;) It's quite lovely listening to a guy sing, play, or read to me (and quite a turn on).
