My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am someone who loves the little and big surprises that life has to offer. Like finding that great restaurant off the beaten path in Savannah, stumbling upon a new museum in New York, or escaping to Philly for a weekend.

I travel when I can. Day and weekend trips are great and I'm lucky in that my job as a School Library Media Specialists (school librarian) allows me to have summers off. Right now I've mostly been around the East Coast but I'm branching out and using my summers off to see all sorts of places. However, and this is hard to admit, I don't currently have a passport. I'll fix this soon.

I'm always reading. I'm also always eating, which surprises some given my relatively slender frame. This does not mean I can cook, but I'm giving cooking a try and have a bunch of recipe books helping me out.

I'd love to find a woman with a sense of joy and exploration. Someone who would love to take a day or weekend trip anywhere. Wander around a museum or see a show or sports, head off to a bed and breakfast in the mountains or down to the shore, meander NYC. Maybe dinner and a movie or show around here.

If you are game I am too.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
For work, I'm a School Librarian.

For fun, I'm attempting to learn to be a better cook, and I love to eat and try restaurants. I read a lot, go to concerts and shows, and am a weekend traveler. Anywhere, any weekend! Lately I've been doing a lot less traveling than I want and am working to change that.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Relaxing people in serious situations. Making things up as I go along.

Movies: "Lawrence of Arabia" "Dark City" "Raiders of the Lost Ark" "Gattica" "Millions" "L.A. Confidential"

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
books or some form of reading material
a good stove (can't cook yet but I'm trying!)
luggage
fish, to eat or watch
transportation - car or otherwise
friends
family (do the last two count? I would expect most can't do without those two)
