My self-summary Propose an edit
Plain and simple: online dating is sketchy. So I don't do
it.
I'm here to make friends! But if you want to know what I'm looking
for in a guy just read my journal entry. ;)
I am 100% Jesusfreak. My faith is most important to me in life. I
am short. I am blonde. I love to laugh and make people laugh. I
love old
movies. I'm easygoing. I'm a bad driver. I usually listen
rather than wait my turn to speak.
I have a weakness for chocolate and cheesy romantics.
I'm not gonna lie- I adore foot massages. Well, most any massage
really.
I can play drumset. Mwahaha.
I may not look like it, but I love to run. So it'd be great to have
someone to jog around with.
I'll be friends with just about anyone!
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
I am currently a junior in college, aiming to be a film director (I
know...dream on). I work part time at a grocery store. I'm really
involved at my church. Most of the time I'm just hanging
out with my friends.
I am really looking forward to marriage- a committed, passionate, fun
relationship that lasts a lifetime. I don't mind waiting around for
the right guy to show up! I might just have to hunt a little. Let
me go get my spear...
I'm really good at Propose an edit
Hmmm. I'm good at making a fool of myself. I'm really good at
listening to other people. I've been told I can draw okay. I would
love to say that I'm a flippin AWESOME swing dancer...but alas, I
only dream. I'm good at getting A's, but I guess that has no value
in the dating world. I can snap my fingers really fast.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
The first thing people usually say is that I'm super nice but shy
and quiet. But then they get to know me and realize that I'm hyper
and hardly ever shut up. I've also been told that I use humor as a defense mechanism.
And I replied that they should keep their socialist psychobabble to
themselves.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit
Okay, here we go. My favorite:
(A) Books: Bible,
Flashbang, Flabbergasted, Mere Christianity, Screwtape Letters,
Catcher in the Rye, The Princess Bride. Really, anything by
C.S.
Lewis.
(B) Movies: waay too many, but top ones are It's a Wonderful Life,
Schindler's List, Casablanca, Donnie Darko, On the Waterfront,
Crash, Amelie,
Children of a Lesser God, Meet Joe Black, Signs.
*I love the TV shows "The Office" and "30 Rock", to a sickening
degree.*
(C) Music: Mostly all kinds...Linda Eder, Damien Rice, Disciple, downhere,
Nichole Nordeman, Family Force 5, Queen, Billy
Joel, oldies, jazz, rock, big band, movie soundtracks, and
everything Broadway. Then some of the old stuff like Frank Sinatra,
Billie Holiday, Judy Garland, etc. My iTunes library has a lot of
variety, to say the least.
(D) Foods: I am a total sweet tooth. But I do also enjoy me a tasty
chicken once in a while. I go for the normal boring stuff: tacos,
pizza, salad, burgers...not all that picky. HOWEVER, I wouldn't
mind at all if there's a guy out there who'll cook for me. Because
I am unfortunately hopeless at the stovetop. How undomestic of me.
I'm sure I'll learn eventually. I'll just get me a good man who'll
teach me.
The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
1. As I mentioned before, chocolate. 2. Jesus Christ (who is a little more
important to me than chocolate). 3. My friends. 4. Laughter. 5.
Good music. 6. Love.
Yes, it's a cop-out answer but it's true.
I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
God, philosophy,
religion,
Christianity,
etc. Relationships. Life in general. Worrying about my career. A
few political issues (I'm extremely against abortion, for
instance).
And also random thoughts like what the heck is a nutria and could
it eat me alive. And how weird we would all look without
bellybuttons.
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
Sadly I work most Friday nights. But Saturday nights? Yeah, baby.
I'd boast that I'm a wild crazy clubbing party chick, but that
would be a lie. I like to have fun but I'm not into drinking and
whatnot. Dancing...now that's another story. ;)
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
I accidentally killed my pet frog when I was 7. I thought he liked
to fly. Rest in peace, Jerry...
You should message me if Propose an edit
If you want to talk to me, duh. I'd like it if you are nice and not
mean. Oh, and not arrogant. I reeeeeally dislike arrogance. But I
could always use more friends so drop me a line!
As far as dating goes, I'm on the lookout for a sweet Christian
dude who can put up with a short hyper chick.
Oh, and if you're wondering why I don't show my face in my photo,
it is not because I'm uber hideous. It's because I don't want any
random creepy stalkers to recognize my face. (That actually
happened, so the precaution is necessary)
