When did finding love become so difficult?? I am looking for this thing that is very hard to find~chemistry. That unexplainable thing that happens between two people almost immediately. I am not sure how it works but it doesn't happen very often and when it does, you just know it. My friends say I'm "picky" but that's not it, I am just waiting for that "spark." I have been divorced for over 12 years, have had a few serious relationships but have been single for the past 3 years and am ready to find someone to spend time with. I don't need anyone to take care of me, been doing that for some time now. Not looking to get married either but definitely am ready to find that one person to spend time with. Not a fan of chatting or texting, you can do that for months without getting to know someone. I am a believer of meeting in person to see if there is chemistry.

Originally from upstate NY and relocated here over 17 years ago~love it and have never looked back. I am a positive person, have been through some tough times and learned to see the upside to all things, no matter what. Life is hard at times but that which doesn't kill us makes us stronger. My motto I live by. Life is way too short to sweat the small stuff. I am not into material things. I don't care what kind of car you drive or how big your house is. I care about the type of person you are. I am a very active person. I just adopted a dog that has some crazy energy and my remedy for that is to walk 4 miles everyday with her~to keep her and myself sane!

I am looking for a man has a great sense of humor, who is attractive inside and out, who is active and loves to get out and do things. I am very simple, easy going, low maintenance and laid back. Not your typical girl, I hate shopping and love sports. I am a huge Duke Blue Devils fan.

I enjoy boating and the water-whether it be the lake, ocean, or a pool. I love going to the beach-my favorite place in the world. I get to the beach on a regular basis. If I'm not at the beach, then you will find me by my pool or at the lake. I am not a serious person at all, I love to laugh. So sense of humor is a must. I enjoy going to sporting events, concerts, live music, or just meeting friends out for drinks. But I also enjoy staying home. I have a healthy balance between the two and expect that from someone I am dating. Please no bar flies or party guys need apply~been there done that.

I am raising 3 beautiful girls on my own, ages 15, 17, & 19. My oldest goes to college at UNCG, my middle daughter is heading off to UNCG in the fall, and my youngest is a freshman in HS. So that leaves me home alone on the week~ends for the most part.

I work full time from home which allows a tremendous amount of flexibility with my schedule, and that is great!
