Jezz.... I know I'm not gonna get replies without something here, but I'm not really comfortable talking about myself. I'd rather talk about you, books, music, movies, art, good food, outdoor activities.... but here it goes:

I recently moved to Portland from Yarmouth and I love living "in town". I park my car on Friday and like just walking or biking around. Plus, Portland has all these great restaurants. Not to mention a world class art museum. I live on the Eastern Prom, so the ocean is the first thing I see when I open my eyes in the morning. It's really teaching me to slow down and enjoy life's little moments.

If your looking for a "manly man", I'm probably not your guy. While I do love to fly fish, camp and generally being outdoors (I'm a registered Montana fly-fishing guide); I can't fix your car (at least none of the newer ones) and I don't like watching sports.

I enjoy my own company and I'm perfectly happy doing things alone but find life is sweeter when you have someone to share experiences with.

This is best I can do for now. I'll ponder and write more later.

Learning to live in the moment. Trying to appreciate the little events that make up most of our lives. I'd like to live each day instead of just getting through them.

Cooking. Especially making something new out of leftovers. I like creating new dishes (sometimes successful, sometimes not). I enjoy hosting small dinner parties.

I used to be a pretty good photojournalist and I'm trying to get back into the photography habit.

I'm good at my job which is Creative system support on Macs.

Fly fishing, camping and boat handling. No one pitches tents or ties knots better.

Making the people I care about feel special.

I never forget birthdays. They're important. It's when you show people you're glad they were born and are a part of your life. Friends are the family you chose and should be nurtured.

I'm the worlds best at sitting in a hammock and spending a day reading.

The first thing people mention is the manners. I'm from the south, so saying sir, ma'am, please, thank you, opening doors, pulling out chairs; they're just part of who I am. I promise I'm not sexist. I believe treating people with respect is part of being treated as an equal.
