I am geeky, random, and slightly silly.

My Self-Summary

This profile exists so I can compare myself with friends and giggle at their profiles. So messages to me most likely will not be returned. And besides, why would you want to message someone that has a blank profile?!?!?!

Okay I decided that maybe I can at least put a few details up since over the past few months I've actually gotten quite a few amusing messages that explain why you'd want to message someone that has a blank profile without sounding creepy! I get along with people who have a pronounced sense of humor, an odd sense of humor, or are passionate about something important to them in life.

What I’m doing with my life

Relocating from PA back down to the DC/Nova area. Trying to readjust to the massive amounts of people and traffic. Learning to live with 3 of my best friends in a townhouse in Rockville, MD without all killing each other.

I’m really good at

Late night conversations that end up with someone saying OMG the sun is coming up! I love talking about anything and everything, and while it takes me a while to open up and share my opinions and views most people are quite willing to share theirs and I love listening.

The first things people usually notice about me

The fact that one of my eyes stares off in a different direction from the other. Okay not really, but what are you supposed to say here that isn't going to sound a little conceited?! I'm also a fairly quiet person at first, I don't mind silence or have this need to fill silence. Sometimes it's a good thing!

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: I tend to read mostly sci/fi and fantasy (with David Eddings being my favorite author) and occasionally I'll pick up some historical fiction. I have loads of books on the topic of religion however I don't currently follow any specific religion.

Movies: I enjoy most movies, although lately I haven't been impressed with the movies being released. I really enjoyed the latest Star Trek movie (although it's NOT star trek!) and Maverick, Moulin Rogue, Death to Smoochy, Big Fish, and all the Star Wars and Star Trek movies rate really high on my meter.

Music: Angels And Airwaves Jimmy Eat World Taking Back Sunday Journey The Ruse Kaiser Chiefs Jem Carbon Leaf The Postal Service All American Rejects Silverchair The Used Glen Phillips

Food: Mexican, Japanese, Greek, Italian, Indian. The spicier the better!

The six things I could never do without

I'm not sure there are six things I feel strongly enough about that I couldn't do without them. Suffice it to say, most of the things I enjoy depend on sight so that is the one thing I could never do without.

It's a lot easier to list some things I *could* do without such as high taxes, close-mindedness, and lack of compassion.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I'm a searching agnostic. I enjoy studying various religions and while I know I believe something, I haven't figured out what yet.

I think most people tune out the world and move along in a happy little bubble where their biggest concern is what they are going to buy at the grocery store later. While in some ways I envy those people, I am not one of them.

On a typical Friday night I am

Playing some poker. (Don't worry. I won't take your money. At first. =P) Jumping in the car for a random road trip up or down the east coast. Relaxing at home watching some movies. Hanging out with the roomates watching youtube videos until someone is laughing so hard they can't breathe anymore.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I value honesty above all else. Even if you're totally self-involved or find it funny to laugh at other people in trouble, if you're honest about who you are we'd probably be friends. I find it more distasteful to represent yourself as something you are not than to just plain be a jerk but open about it :)

I've got a bit of an OCD thing with cleanliness, but luckily it only applies to places I live. I can go into a house that is destroyed with dishes growing questionable new lifeforms and feel fine, but if I come home and realize I left a glass on my computer desk I can't relax until it's put away.

I'm an INFJ.

You should message me if

You notice odd patterns in numbers or license plates. It's a friday night and the last thing on your mind is hanging out at a bar getting smashed and picking up whoever is willing to go home with you. However you'd go to said bar to have a few drinks and laugh at the people getting smashed and stumbling home with random people. You don't mind a girl who most of the time operates by logic and common sense, but still has moments of spontaneous emotional decisions. You have dark hair and blue eyes. (and something more to say than "Hi, I have dark hair and blue eyes)
