My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Life is good. Like most of you I am on here to supplement my existing social life. I enjoy meeting new people and learning from them, and if this experience is initiated through an internet dating site such as this - then so be it.

Let's see..I guess we should start here with some adjectives:

A little too full of myself, but in a good way

Well that covers it. Feel free to skip to the end part about messaging me. Or...

You can choose your own adventure and continue reading here:

I love soccer - playing and watching. There is a new intown league developing that I plan on being a part of in the spring. So if you're a player let me know. A partnership with Lagunitas means lots of solid beer drinking after the matches.

I just started a new job at the CDC. And I love it. I've really taken to this career thing. It's weird, I just turned 33 and yet I feel like a new man. I feel like I'm entering the prime of my life. I'm a late bloomer I guess. But better late than never!

ENTP on Myers-Briggs, by the way.

I have been more of a solo type of guy most of my adult life. For whatever reason. But as things are coming together for me - career, passions, and lifestyle habits, I've found myself wanting to share my experiences. Even if it's just sitting on the couch together while I strum the guitar, and a girl is doing her own thing. In fact this is really what I want right now. Truth be told.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently playing the role of a Statistician. It's a type of position most people don't really understand. I feel part mathematician, part computer scientist, all mixed up underneath a scientist. Loving it!

Working at the CDC.

Exercising. It's like medicine.

I love going for long walks around my neighborhood. I feel it connects me to the primal roots of our nomadic species. Love those beta-endorphins.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Telling stories
Thinking deeply about things
Ping Pong! And no I won't take it easy on you. So don't ask!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You know the usual. Reasonably tall, handsome, confident demeanor, leader of men. Oh..also that I sometimes exaggerate.

My pretty blue eyes?

Michael Lewis (Moneyball, The Big Short) - His nonfiction reads like John Grisham.

Ursula Le Guin - She's a great sci-fi writer but from a more feminist anthropological perspective. Seriously you should give her a try.

Yeah I've read Harry Potter and The Hunger Games. NOT Twilight though. Not gonna do it.

I love them. Pretty sure The Imitation Game is going to be the best movie of the year, even though I've yet to see it.
** Edit: Saw The Imitation Game. It was amazing. Check it out.

Tangled is better than Frozen. There I said it. And I only speak the truth.

Led Zeppelin, Outkast, Chopin, Empire of the Sun, Silversun Pickups, Tears for Fears, Jimi Hendrix, Blackmill, Fitz and the Tantrums, et cetera ad infinitum

I can't stop playing my guitar! Also really interested in tonal theory and a general study of music. My next angle is Mathematical Music Theory. I'm about to get deep into the heart of this thing y'all.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You skipped ahead.

You want to do something fun. Adventurous dates are the best.

Or you want to challenge me in ping pong. Well you can try your hardest of course. You'll still lose!

You want to go on fun dates for a few weeks. Then alternate between that and chilling with me on the couch. Snuggling is acceptable.
