My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am starting to think I am not really the person people typically look for on this site. Which works, I guess, if you are looking for something different.

I don't really have an inclination for outdoor activities, sports events, or concerts.

I don't drink or go to bars, I am not into music as a hobby, and art bores me.

I feel completely out of touch with the profiles I come across on this site, and I have somehow lost any semblance of the gauge required to send a provocative and interesting message.

The worst part of it all, is that I don't really see this as something that is my responsibility to remedy, and when I think about making changes I realize that it is everyone else that is wrong in their approach and preferences.

Of course, I am willing to see past all of that if you are. Truth be told, aside from my new found apathy, I am not all that bad...

I am the type of person to invest completely into what I am doing. It doesn't matter if it is work related (even doing jobs I hate), social pursuits, intellectual curiosities, or one of my hobbies; I always commit to getting the most out of it.

Honesty, intensity, and humor are the traits I value most in both myself and others. If those traits are something you hold in high regard, then we might be a good fit.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Director of Operations at BLOW Hookah, LLC

I have also done some writing (epic fantasy), which I am in the process of getting published.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I have a knack for organization, a penchant for writing and story telling, and a flair for speaking in front of groups of people.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Physically, I would have to say my eyes. They are strikingly blue.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My favorite genre of book is epic fantasy. I like to read about groups of adventurers more than about a lone hero though. I like the World of Warcraft books, the Dragonlance Chronicles, Hawkmoon, and the Codex Alera series. I go through a new series every couple of months, and I am currently going through the Wheel of Time of series. I read a lot of non-fiction as well, though it usually less intentional. I hear about something that sounds interesting and decide to check it out.

I am an avid moviegoer, and will watch dozens of new release movies each year. I also rent a lot of movies from Redbox. I don't have a specific type I will or wont watch, and will watch just about anything once. Some movies I enjoyed watching include Snatch, Lucky Number Sleven, Dogma, The Departed, the Matrix series, most super hero movies, Clerks, Sin City, most big budget animated movies, and most epic fantasy movies.

I don't watch T.V. as much as most people, but my roommate got me into a few of the shows that everyone else seems to think of as must-sees. Parks and Rec, The League, The Blacklist, and The Office are some of the shows I have enjoyed more recently. I like to watch the WWE Network as well.

As for food, I enjoy seafood and Italian cuisine the most. I wont shy away from anything though, and I will be the first person to try out any dish that is put in front of me.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Good company. I mean it. I like to play games and have conversations, and that requires people to share in the fun.

2. Entertainment. Movies, games, bowling, swimming, going to the park; I need something to occupy my free time.

3. Stability. I like having a steady job, paid bills, and reliable people in my life. I am the type of person to prioritize handling things that need to get done over other things I want to do.

4. Good food. I am not talking about sustenance just to sustain myself. I am talking about delicious food engineered specifically to be savored. If you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know.

5. Goals. Small or big, I am the type of person to set out to complete something. I enjoy the satisfaction of feeling like I accomplished something.

6. Laughter. I love to laugh, and I love to make the people around me laugh. I tend to be no-holds-barred with my humor, and I will make or laugh at any joke if I think it is funny, regardless of the subject matter.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Right now, I have been thinking about getting back into meeting new people. The past couple of months I have been a bit distracted with hobbies, moving into a new place, and dealing with stuff for work. Things have finally calmed down though, and now the only major thing I find myself left wanting for is romantic companionship.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Most Friday nights I spend time with a core group of like-minded people at a local hobby shop called The Bunker. We play board-games, card games, and get dinner and hang out. It's a really cool place to spend a Friday night if you are into that sort of thing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I will be a "kid at heart" until the day I die, and it frustrates me when people find that to be immature.

I like some Nickleback songs.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
... you are someone that gets excited when I bring a container of cookies home.

... having a date planned for that night makes you smile all day.

If you are interested in hanging out, with at least some intention of establishing a long term relationship (eventually), and see me as someone that would be a good fit, I would argue that is as good a place to start as any.

Honestly, as long as you get the impression we might get along and aren't just looking for some casual fling, or are looking for someone to be 'just friends' with, I think we have similar enough goals in mind to give messaging each other a shot.
