Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Words that can describe me would include loyal, trustworthy,
confident, sincere, and empathetic. I am someone that keeps my cool
and is laid back, but I am also very competitive and focused when
there is something that I am aiming to accomplish. If it means
getting a few laughs out of people, I can be a bit of a goof at
Things that I enjoy include Cincinnati Reds baseball and Ohio State
Buckeyes football. I love playing baseball or softball whenever I
get the chance and am always up for joining a recreational league,
no matter what the sport. I also like to go hiking in some of the
local parks around Columbus. Gallery Hop is always fun to go to at
the beginning of the month. I am always up for anything that is an
opportunity to challenge myself physically or to learn/experience
An ideal relationship for me absolutely needs to have trust,
openness, and the willingness to always continue to grow together.
Finding someone who is open to new experiences is also important to
me, as is someone who knows what they want out of life. Having a
good sense of humor is always good, as some of the best times
usually include laughter. A girl who would be a good match would be
someone who is independent in the sense that they remain true to
who they are and what they believe in and value. Maybe the most
important thing I am looking for is someone who is looking for a
fun, joyful, and loving relationship where both are equally as
committed to one another.
I would say that I am a fairly easy person to talk to and I am
always open to meeting new people and getting to know them, so
don't be shy about sending me a message :-)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I am working in the field of higher education. I recently
finished my master's degree and am thinking of going back to school
part-time for an MBA. I am very passionate about my job and working
in education with students and working towards providing
opportunities for students to be successful in life.
Outside of my career, I am always looking to take on projects or
lessons to gain new skills or learn something new. I guess you
could call me a sort of a perpetual learner. I enjoy constantly
challenging myself and always need something that I am working
towards. I am very driven and believe that there is always room to
improve or learn something new. Because of this, I am always up for
trying something at least once.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing shortstop in baseball or softball. Overall, I would say
that I can hold my own in most sports. I'm also known for playing a
practical joke or two, but always in good taste and always making
sure it involves people who can take it. Finally, I would say that
I am good at understanding people.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Good question... I've been told my smile and my hair before.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Call me odd, but I love reading "how-to" books. I also enjoy
action, adventure, history, mystery books. Into the Wild is a good
book, as is the novel of which Forrest Gump is based.
Movies: The Sandlot, Forrest Gump, Back to the Future, Ferris
Bueller's Day Off, Silver Linings Playbook, Dumb and Dumber,
Inception, The Social Network
Music: I enjoy a wide variety of music and it really just depends
on what I feel like listening to. But hands down, my favorite
artist is Jack White.
Food: If it's edible, I'll try it at least once.... most of the
time ;-) I'm always up for trying new kinds of foods and
restaurants. I love grilling and take advantage of that anytime I
get. The weirdest thing I want to try are oysters, don't ask me
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:
1. The ability to be outdoors or in a park.
2. Baseball, specifically the Reds.
3. The opportunity to always learn.
4. My dog, Sophie.
5. Family, friends, and meaningful relationships in my life.
6. And yes... my iPhone.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My career, where my life is going, what I hope to accomplish, and
hoping I find someone who is right for me to share my life with and
the experiences that will come. I also try to stay up to date on
current events and how it impacts the world socially. I find topics
of psychology and sociology to be interesting.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Spending time with friends or family... it really doesn't matter
what we're doing. It can be having a conversation at a cafe or bar,
catching a ballgame, or even just going on a hike.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been heartbroken and disappointed in past relationships, but
yet I remain optimistic. If you want more details, you'll just have
to message me.
