Your probably thinking okay why is this guy on here. Well here goes. I broke up with my girlfriend of a year, and I wasn't really finding anyone with in my social circles that I was really interested in. I dated around but just wasn't clicking with anyone. I have a group of friends here in Columbia City, we hang out all the time. One of my friends met a girl on here. They started dating and now pretty much live together. She has become a staple in the group and all of our friends have accepted her as our surrogate maternal caregiver. They suggested to me to start a profile on here.
I was reluctant at first due to: all the horror stories i've ever read, countless made for t.v. movies, and real life experience from people I know or knew personally about internet stalkers, predators or people online who are not completely honest about why they use sites like this one. Then I thought about my two friends and decided maybe I could find someone.
I still hesitated though because i figured most girls on these sites would prolly think that I was one of those less than reputable people. One day I was eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich hanging with my homies, I was in between a bite watching The Dark Knight. It was at the part the Joker was telling Gambol the story of how he got his scars. "my father was a drinker, and a FEIND. One night he goes off crazier than usual."
It was at this point I finished my sandwich, got on the computer, and came here okcupid. It was completely spontaneous, random, and no one was expecting me to do it. But then again i like being spontaneous and random. "Life is an adventure and i want to be hero of my story."
I came here to meet potential mates I guess, but more so for friendship because my last relationship was based on friendship, not sex like many of my other ones. In fact we were together for a year and never once had sex. We were intimate and I believe we made love but we never did "the nasty".
Due to circumstances we broke it off. Do I still care about her? To be honest yes. However, we don't see each other any more but still talk, or rather txt, every now and then. There is no future for us and we know that. Maybe one day ill tell you the story of what I believe to be the best relationship I have ever had thus far in my life, but thats a story for another day.
Anyway because of that life experience I now know that the really great relationships are based on friendship. So now here I am looking for friendship in hopes of possibly finding that one person.
I am divorced and I have one daughter madison. She is six, she lives with her mom but I see her all the time.

At the Moment I am Unemployed. I am currently looking for a job, and gearing up to continue my education next fall. No big moves planned for the near future, just trying to get through life right now. I hang out with friends, family, and my daughter. I like going out and doing things, concerts, camping, road trips, I like getting physical, working out, playing games. I like to try to learn things and always improve myself. I also like to chill with my friends and jus play wii or read. I'm the kind of guy thats adaptable.

I am artistic, I am good at telling stories, making people laugh and putting smiles on faces.

I am a big guy. I am about 5'8", some people say they thought I was taller, I have dark hair and deep dark brown eyes, which I've been told are incredibly sexy. I have broad shoulders, I am pretty laid back, very creative and funny. Oh, people also usually think I'm younger than I am. I've been told I look as young as 18 at times. Some people think I'm weird at first but then they get to know me a little better and I become like a brother or a member of the family. My dad only had one other son but I have many brothers.
I've also been called a gentle giant. People say I'm funny, energetic, spontaneous, reliable, a true friend, a good dad, strong, optimistic, helpful, objective, a good listener, a good talker, and intelligent. There are other word but I feel like stopping now, and I'm not an angel but I do have angelic tendencies. I'm not a demon but have been known to dance with the devil by the pale moon light.

I like R.A.Salvator, i like fantasy books and read a lot. Not just fantasy also nonfiction. I like watching fantasy, sci fi, horror, actions and comedies. Dont really have a fav, jus depends on my mood. I like Mexican, Italian, seafood, Japanese(i want to try sushi), Chineese, and a burger or hot dogs.

If your thinking "God how does he make time for all that?" all the various activities: t.v. shows, movies, video games, friends, family, going out, spending time with my daughter, and other various extracurricular activities jus remember i like to shake things up and im not goin to school at the present or have a job. My mind is constantly goin so i need an out let or id probably explode. and not in the good way.

laughter, friends, my daughter, Family, art\writing supplies, still not sure about the other one.... oh God. Not to be ultra religious or anything. I have friends that are agnostic and atheists and i respect that, even dated a few. And God was not the reason it ended. lol.

My stories im writing. my dnd group. music, my best friends have a band. I also think about my daughter a lot. and magic the gathering.

Hanging with my kid, or friends. When I am with friends usually doing the bar or karaoke thing, sometimes both. I do drink but not all the time. And I do not usually get drunk. I just like to have a good time.

'cus you be bored, you find me interesting or you want to get to know me for the hell of it. Even if were enemies, I don't care. I find a different point of view eye opening or refreshing sometimes. And I have not always agreed with past girlfriends. Sometimes differences are what attract people.
