My self-summary
I yam what I yam and tha's all I yam.

Too weird to be normal yet too normal to be weird.

Terribly uninteresting.

I wouldn't be caught dead wearing a hoodie, sports Jersey or cap.

I haven't watched wrestling since I was 14 and MMA matches make no sense to me.
The first things people usually notice about me
People usually think that I'm younger than I actually am.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: A Confederacy of Dunces, Empire of the Summer Moon.
Dorothy Parker.
Emily Dickinson.
The Long Goodbye by Raymond Chandler.
The Destroyer book series by Richard Sapir and Warren Murphy.
Robert E. Howard's Conan stories.
The Dune books by Frank Herbert.
H.P. Lovercraft stories.
Joe Estevez: Wiping Off the Sheen. A biography/interview book about actor Joe Estevez, brother Martin Sheen.

Glenn Miller's version of Jingle Bells is the best.

Movies: Big Trouble in Little China, Robocop, Alien, The Godfather, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Blade Runner, L.A. Confidential, Short Circuit, There Will Be Blood, and many more.

Shows: Boardwalk Empire, Burn Notice, Longmire, Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern and that's about it. I don't watch much TV anymore. I do like watching The American Experience on PBS where there's a subject that interests me.

Music: My taste in music ranges from Iron Maiden to Lady Gaga. I love music from the 1970s and 1980s. Jazz and bluegrass are good too. I sometimes listen to folk music when I find it on the radio.

I can't stand most contemporary soft rock, the kind of stuff you might find on the Lite FM. The music of John Mayer, Jason Mraz and the Plain White Ts is my personal hell.

Food: The chipotle chicken sandwich at Panera Bread. The ham sandwich at Jimmy John's. The barbacoa burrito at Chipotle Mexican Grill.
The six things I could never do without
Water. Food. My car. Mystery Science Theater 3000.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
There will be generations of people who have never been photographed on actual film stock.

If OKCupid got paid for every woman who said that they were "down to Earth", "run marathons", or are "a little OCD,", they would be richer than Google.

Just how the hell all of you are able to lead such rich, full lives but are unable to find a significant other and are reduced to using a site like OK Cupid. Help me understand.

How an atheist can be so serious about believing in nothing. I'd think they'd be more easy going than that.
On a typical Friday night I am
Trying not to despair as I remind myself of my loneliness.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I feel a little self-conscious when I eat inside a Jimmy Johns. Everyone else is just getting food to go. My work keeps me mobile and I have no office to go to eat lunch nor am I going home.

Let's get this out of the way: I collect toys, old and new. Mostly Transformers, although I have slowed down with the collecting and am thinning out my collection.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 26–32
  • Near me
  • Who are single

You should message me if
You aren't scared off by the private things which I have admitted.

You want to be a vigilante with me and clean up the streers.

You've got pretty good morals without being very religous.

You practice what you preach when you say that you're "open-minded".

You're not full of shit if you answer "yes" to the question, "Are geeks sexy?"
