I am Determined, Insightful, and Entertaining.
My Self-Summary
I am originally from Albuquerque, but got my BA from the University
of Southern California and also spent some time working in Los
Angeles before moving back to New Mexico. I have a cynical type of
humor that touches on insanity at times, but rest assured, I am
grounded by a love of logical rationale. Intelligence is my biggest
turn on, and a lack thereof, my biggest turn off. Beyond that, I
look for friends and significant others with a lust for life and a
confidence that does not require constant validation. I do not
require a woman to have my zeal for fitness, but I am looking for
someone with a fundamental respect for her body and its condition.
I love
water
skiing,
snow
skiing,
powerlifting,
guinness,
dogs,
showers,
ranch dressing,
gratuity,
mockery, and
cheap sunglasses.
What I’m doing with my life
I am an editor, communications database administrator, and an
account executive for a large dental insurance company. My job
allows for a new experience every day, which I find to be
invigorating. Being happy with my current position, I have not been
seeking elsewhere, but rather hope to travel toward a more senior
position where I am. Sometime in the distant future, I could see
myself as a professor at a university. I envision a tweed coat with
patches on the elbows and a disposition towards unique classroom
etiquette. However, a degree of enjoyment in my life is the mystery
of what the future holds.
Outside of work, one of my most constant passions is training for
and competing in regional and national powerlifting meets. The goal
at these events is essentially to move as much weight as possible
for a single rep in several different types of lifts, which are
then totaled together for a final score. I generally train five
afternoons a week for this caveman-esque sport. However, I would
like to clarify that for me this doesn't feel so much like a
machismo endeavor, as an exploration of my body's potential.
I’m really good at
I am a relatively fast reader, a natural test taker, a comfortable
public speaker, an energetic jump roper, a competitive water skier,
and wonderfully horrible singer.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
On what I ponder differs greatly from moment to moment. I reflect
largely on existing problems and their solutions. I also cannot
help but think about family, friends, and their wellbeing.
On a typical Friday night I am
I generally attempt to be social on Friday nights. This involves
going out, either with friends or alone, and having a few drinks,
playing some pool, or sometimes dancing (well... making an effort
to do so). I also throw the occasional barbeque or pool party at my
place in the summer.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I am a very light sleeper, so don't usually like cuddling if I am
trying to sleep.
You should message me if
Feel free to message me if you are interested in friendship,
dating, or even just a conversation- I enjoy any sort of dialogue
with an intelligent person.
