My self-summary
I'm passionate about being outdoors and learning about the world around us. Last year I bought a new bicycle and car camping gear.

Seeing indie and non-violent films at various venues in the Bay Area is a fun way to while away a winter evening. Talking about the film afterwards is almeost as much fun as watching the film!

I read "The New Yorker," "The New York Times" and a variety of other periodicals and books.

The Commonwealth Club is a place I enjoy hearing a wide variety of interesting speakers talk about many different topics. I'm hoping my partner would enjoy joining me sometimes.

Places I'd like to continue to explore include beaches at Point Reyes, biking or walking across the Golden Gate Bridge, hiking trails on Mount Tam and the Marin Headlands. I love going to concerts performed by singer songwriters like Catie Curtis, Blame Sally, and Lucy Kaplansky (to name only 3) at Freight and Salvage in Berkeley. I would love to see Carol King and James Taylor next time they are in town.

Here's a liberating way to think about this process of of finding the love we seek:
"Life expands or contracts in direct proportion to one's courage."
- Anais Nin

I'm open, curious and fun! Looking for a wonderful woman to join me in exploring all that the bay area and the broader world offers.

If you resonate with any of this, please be courageous and send me a note.

Kate Wolf's song:
"Give yourself to love.
Open your hearts to tears and laughter,
If love is what you're after.

Love is born in fire.
It's planted like a seed.
Love can't give you everything,
But love is what you need."

The book "Shadow Dance" by David Richo. It's about the psychological theories of Carl Jung.

Here are the lyrics from a song written by "Gypsy Soul" that really inspires me. The first line was written by Mahatma Gandhi.
"Be the change you want to see.
Be the peace that sets you free.
Be the dreams you desire.
Be the wings that take you higher.
Be the cure that helps you heal.
Be the love you want to feel."
