My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a warm, enthusiastic person. I live in the world of possibilities, and can become very passionate and excited about things. My enthusiasm lends me the ability to inspire and motivate others. I'm good at things which interest me but have a strong need to be liked. Okay, to be completely honest with you: sometimes I tend to be "gushy" and "overdo" in an effort to win your acceptance. Thanks to my ADD I have a hard time seeing importance on detailed, maintenance-type tasks, and I will frequently remain oblivious to these types of concerns. Others see me as: empathetic with the feelings of others, creative in nature, inventive, spontaneous, fun and energetic. I try not to harbor resentment and look past surface appearance to the core of people.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working for a insurance company, although it is boring and completely unfulfilling it does pay the bills. Having a voluntary job in a nursing home where I'm completing and maintaining a small "museum of memories" I also organise different musical activities at the same place. Currently looking for a new (paid) job in social work. In my spare time I play the piano, sing in a choir and try not to avoid my running schedule.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
1) I received an honorary doctorate in "hugging and cuddling", but need to practice it a lot to keep my skills worthy of this degree.
2) I didn't major in procrastination because, well, I had something better to do. But I'm still very good at it!
3) Listening, helping and comforting the people I care about
4) Making jokes that few people get
5) Shaving with a straight razor (it's probably to proof my manhood, does it work?)
6) Having creative solutions in stressful situations
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Others see me as: empathetic with the feelings of others, creative in nature, inventive, spontaneous, fun and energetic.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Authors: Shakespeare, Stephen Fry (one of my personal heroes), Haruki Murakami, Douglas Coupland, Harry Mulisch, Bret Easton Ellis. And once in a while I secretly read an old Suske & Wiske but I hope this will be our little secret.

Movies: The Fall, Mr. Nobody, Weekend. A single man, most Woody Allen films. I'm also the lord of the rings, Star Wars, Batman kinda guy. And an animation addict.

Shows: Doctor Who (a bit of a whovian), Mad men, Game of Thrones, Dexter, Sherlock, Will & Grace, Homeland. Shit, it turns out to be quite a lot. I will finish this bit, otherwise some people might think I don't have a life.

Music: Mostly classical. Bach, Wagner, Mahler. Oddly enough. But I do stumble upon some Coldplay, Jeff Buckley, Queen and maybe after some extensive browsing you might even find some Gaga in a hidden file called "guilty pleasures".

Food. Well, I have not much to say on the matter: if it's edible I'll eat it, if it's prepared with taste and know-how: I'll love it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Love of my friends and family
2) Music (especially Bach)
3) Laughter
4) Good food
5) Seasons, I have a special appreciation for all four of them
6) Imagination, my own and that of others
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The fabric of the cosmos, particle physics, entropy and my place in all of this. I am aware of the fact this may appear as if I'm a pretentious snob, which I'm not! Honestly! Well okay, maybe a bit.....But I do think a lot about it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
probably disappointed. Otherwise hanging out with friends
