Started drinking more too. Dunno if these are linked.

Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
nothing. I'm not really good at anything. I'm above adequate at scrabble, pool, football, writing, making things out of gaffer tape and cooking but there are thousands of people in the world better than me at all of the above so I'm not really good at anything.

Oh. Thought of something. I know every country's flag. Show me a flag and I'll tell ye the country.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've canvassed opinion on this now. The answers include:
"He could do with a wash"; "How quiet your voice was"; "You have a lovely genuine smile"; "I was creeped at how your voice wasn't as deep as I thought it would be and you had a rockin' haircut"; "Your punked out jacket"; "Your sexy arse"; "Your tattoos"; "Yer beard"; "He's amazing and he reminds me of Wolverine"; "Your smile. And the way it lights up your eyes"

Although now I'm in London I'm gonna presume all the above will be ignored and the answer will just be "your accent"

Books: Always been a fan of horror so some Clive Barker, Stephen King, H.P. Lovecraft, James Herbert always goes down well. Well, not always, sometimes Barker gets too caught up his own weird sexual fantasies and sometimes Stephen King is just, well, boring. Aside from that I read a lot of books about football like The Miracle of Castel di Sango, Morbo, A Season in Verona, etc. and I'm constantly reading/re-reading anything by Charles Bukowski.

Movies: The great thing about foreign films is if they're crap no-one in their home country will look for a foreign distributor so we, generally, only get the good stuff from abroad. Fancy that aint it? Again it's quite a lot about the horror for me so La Orfanata, [REC], Switchblade Romance, Bad Taste, Braindead, Pitch Black, The Thing, They Live, that list's endless. Also love Funny Games, Shawshank Redemption, Charlie Chaplin, The Marx Brothers, and, again, another endless list. I'll sum it up by saying if it's scary, foreign or old. That good enough?

Telly: I've not had a telly for a while nownow and don't miss it either. I do have every episode of The Twilight Zone and Mystery Science Theatre 3000 on my computer tho'. I always watch QI or Match of the Day on the iPlayer.

Radio: Probably listen to more radio than I watch telly now. Always catch Kermode and Mayo on a Friday for the film reviews, Fighting Talk every Saturday, The Infinite Monkey Cage, The News Quiz, I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue and, again, some more documentaries that take my fancy.

Music: Once a punk always a punk. Leftover Crack, Osker, Rancid, Green Day,Stiff Little Fingers, etc. Although have oodles of time for ska, folk (Celtic, English, Americana and Bluegrass mostly. Some Scandinavian stuff too), dub, rocksteady, hip-hop and a touch of soul when I fancy it.

Food: I'm vegan now so all food is shite compared to my old favourites. Forbidden fruit an' that.

I buy "The Sun" occasionally. Not because of the "news" but just because it's the only cryptic crossword I can finish when I'm at work.
